The best off leash dog beach in Melbourne. Make sure to check the tides before you go. Pick the time of visit when tide is at low.

Awesome dog beach! Nice and shallow so can walk out into the water for a good distance at low tide. Lots of parking available but popular stop though so can get busy on hot days.

Great place to bring your dog. Wide, shallow, segregated beach which your pooch will love. To top it off there is the added attraction of an off leash dog park next to the beach as well. Will definitely return!

My dog loved the place. He enjoyed the water on the beach and the park. The beach has less water, and we can leave the dog off leash. It gives your dog to meet new dogs. The dog park was clean and well maintained. I would to take my dog again to Altona beach

Best place to be with your paw friend on a hot day.Went for our first swim and had heaps of fun.This place gets super crowded and even if there’s is a lot of room, make sure you and your dog are always safe.

Absolutely LOVED the dog beach and the dog park here! Beautiful area and large and extremely dog friendly. Our pup had the time of her life here and everyone was super friendly and in good control of their dogs.

smells bad and seems to have predominantly low end clientele who don’t pick up after their dog. Geographically nice though.
