Greenhills Beach Dog Off Lead

Great beach for both dogs and owners. Great for a swim a short walk even a good run along the water. Dogs are permitted on the beach before 10am and after 4pm. My dog loved it!!!

PLEASE be very mindful and always keep an eye on your dogs and kids when at the beach. Our pups found two dead puffer fish which are highly poisonous not far away from each other which we promptly picked up carefully and threw away. Now with that out of the way, this is a fantastic off-leash beach for dogs to play and socialize. The sand is fairly clean and there are amenities like showers and doggybags available at the entrance. The only downsides are that the waves can get very rough, barely any bins, and the limited time frames for dogs to be allowed on the beach.

Plenty of space to let your dog run and swim on the beach during the designated off lead dog times. It does get busy during these times however all dogs and owners we have encountered have been friendly. There are also poo bags and bins at the entrance.

Great “Social Get Together” for dogs.Plenty of space for them to roam around, not a lot of garbage bins around for putting dog “deposits” in, plenty of parking, but does fill up in the Summer months

Lots of friendly people and dogs, with plenty of room to walk and play.

Full of fluffy wet 4 legged smiling jolting and skipping dogs. Come down and look at the variety of canines loving their salty toes.

Love going early in the morning when it’s empty. Haven’t had any issues with other dogs. All owners seem responsible with some dogs being walked on a leash but most dogs just run around and play.

A bigger alternative dog beach to Kurnell which is open to dogs before 10am and after 4pm.Relatively clean and nice sand coupled with a huge stretch of beach that is good for people and furballs alike. Make sure to take a bag or two for dog droppings though as bins are only found at the entrance to the beach. The dog friendly areas are clearly marked as are the lifeguard patrolled sections as well.It is also only a short 5-10 minute drive away from local eateries and pubs that see over the beach which is always appreciated after a long walk or swim. Would very much recommend as it isn't anywhere near as packed as some of our more popular beaches.
