Lovely Nails and Spa

A very good nail salon at 326a Lyttleton Terrace. I went for a spa pedicure & shellac manicure recently. Nail colour options are very nicely presented, which makes it easy to choose from the selection. The salon is clean & well-organised. They kindly fitted my friend's manicure in as well. I would go here again.I removed one star only because the next day, the shellac on one fingernail had begun to wear away, which is unusual. One extra coat of shellac might be helpful to prevent that from happening.

After this service, my nails beds are lifted, my nails are soft; bending and breaking, and they are also discoloured. After roughly 2 weeks I am left with 3 nails due to the rest breaking off. I always get the same thing; long, black acrylic stilettos.I booked in a fullset acrylic with gel polish ($45) and received an SNS dip ($55 but was charged $60) even after saying that is not what i booked in for and not what i want. However it happened anyway because the first person left out the powder and then the people were changed around and they went straight for it and assured me it would last longer even though i said i do not want it. The cuticles were not dipped or painted evenly, and the nails themselves from the side has curves and slopes due to not being filed and shaped properly.Later in the day after i got them done, my pinky nail broke off. After a few days I went back in to get it fixed (i work fulltime) and was told they can only fix one for free after i explained how they were all flimsy and I was scared they were going to break. While I was in there another lady came in talking about how it hadn't even been a week and hers broke off so she paid for a new set. Roughly a week later, all of my non dominant hands nails are broken aside from the ring finger. I went in to seek help, as this was $60 and a service i did not want in the first place. They said they cannot do anything due to having fixed one nail already, and said i should have been more careful. The nails broke when i opened a door and washed my hair- things i do whenever i get nails and have not had a problem with. After leaving today with no help, a further 3 nails broke off while i was picking up a bottle of pepsi. This time, part of my nail bed has lifted up and it is causing a lot of pain. Used to be very good when it was shinny nails, acrylics were always beautiful, but now they are rushed and not done properly. $60 wasted in barely 2 weeks on nails that have caused my natural ones a lot of damage. (The designs were done by a friend afterwards so that wouldn't explain the price increase)

This salon is the only nail salon I will go to in bendigo. They do a consistently great job and always charge a consistent amount. Couldn’t not recommended enough. Owner is extremely lovely and always recognises designs they are capable of instead of just saying yes and botching it. Love this place and would recommend to anyone!

Pretty impressed with my nails. I have had some bad experiences in the past with other salons rough jobs, but can't fault this place. Friendly, relaxing and awesome job.

Busy little place on weekends and other peak times. Recommended to go midweek in the morning and book in (I use Fresha). Friendly staff and great colour selection.

First time customer and i was very impressed with the service provided today. At bendigo nails and beauty, 336a Lyttleton Terrace. Service was amazing, they pay great attention to detail at every stage of the process, take their time, they do not rush you and are not rude like many other nail salons around bendigo. Will be my new regular nail salon for sure. Love my fresh nails. Thank you.

Absolutely love going to this salon. Anna is welcoming and very friendly. We always have a laugh and she remembered me from the first time I walked in the door, and being new to Bendigo it was nice to have someone recognise you and be happy to see you. My nails have always been perfect and nothing I ask for is a bother. I don't even mind if I have to wait as I get to sit in the massage chair.... Aaaahhhhhh
