Frank Architecture

Frank designed our new three bedroom house. He helped us through the process of building our first home from start to finish. From initial design, tender analysis through to completion of the house we now live in. The layout of the house is great, the finishes throughout are top quality. I would recommend Frank to anyone looking to build their own home.

I have worked on a few jobs with Frank from Frank Architecture who has always been easy to talk too compared with other Architects. One of the best decisions that we made when considering to undertake our first renovation was hiring Frank Corran to create and design the build concept as well as facilitate the planning and permit process. We were encouraged to ask questions and raise any concerns. Frank engaged his professional networks to provide their planning services and a transparent tender process has led to us engaging a builder who will begin work in September.On reflection, we had no idea what was required at a design and planning level and are very grateful for Frank’s professionalism and skill which has provided a quality process.This has enabled us to move to the building stage with confidence.

We engaged Frank Corran of Frank Architecture in April 2015 to undertake a complete renovation and extension of our property, from the design phase right through to tendering and project management of the build. Working with a budget of $450k, Frank has completely transformed the house and designed a beautiful, functional home that has certainly exceeded our expectations of what we could achieve with the property.While we are still in the build phase of the project, we are very excited to be seeing the floor plans come to life at our regular site meetings. I have found Frank to be very professional, contactable and easy to work with and he has a good rapport with all of the suppliers involved. We have also valued his ability to hone our design and track down great deals with suppliers to deliver the best value for our budget.I have no hesitation in recommending Frank Architecture.

Frankie did a great job of developing our original ideas and concept, whilst incorporating his own unique ideas and design to help improve the overall aesthetics and function of our house. He was easy to communicate with, prompt and no fuss. Pleasure to deal with.

I cannot speak highly enough of Frank Corran from Frank Architecture. Building in a new estate at first glance I thought would be relatively easy. What was initially a simple tick and flick job turned into a maze of permits, protection work orders, council meetings and the hardest of all developer approvals. Franks honesty and integrity was evident from the very first time I spoke with him and he remained a guiding hand throughout the process. Frank went above and beyond every step of the way right from the beginning liaising with the relevant authorities to make sure it all went smoothly. I would like to make a special mention of how Developers approval was acquired when 3 other builders/architects had failed before him. To add to that, gaining developers approval is often the responsibility of the owner but being completely illiterate in anything to do with this type of thing, Frank once again went the extra mile and dealt with a difficult developer.The building was unique to overcome the design rules within the estate and Frank happily accommodated all of my specific requirements. In my opinion Frank is very approachable and highly skilled in his craft and his work speaks for itself. If you are reading this and are still undecided on whether to use an overpriced architect, a draftsman or a mass producing builder. Don't use any of them, use Frank Architecture, you will not be disappointed.

Frankarchitecture was recommended to us and we have been extremely pleased with the service we have had. The design and layout Frank created for us has ticked every box we wanted and ideas we had not given thought to were suggested. The process was very clearly explained and we were kept regularly informed as to the progress. Frank put the job out to tender for us at the same time as he was waiting for the building permit so once the permit was ready we also had a builder ready. Frank Architecture negotiated with the builders and reviewed the contract. The builder we are now dealing with (Hanns Build) has been equally professional, we are dealing with the builder one on one but still have the full support of Frank for the duration of the job.A huge thank you Frank, you've made our small and not very well laid out house into a beautiful home, we love it!
