They will tell you they will help but then just ignore you and not actually bother getting back to you or help at all.

This place does not provide services to men. Unless you identify as a women. It's time Northern Community Domestic Violence service provides help to everyone no matter what they identify as.The people who have made the decision not to help men,know they can't get away with turning away a trans-woman because the equal opportunity commission would come down on them. These people also know that they can turn men away because the equal opportunity commission will turn a blind eye. Even the people who are suppose to govern equality have no credibility!This discriminatory practice does not help women either, it just enables them to continue to treat a man badly because he has nowhere to turn. They never need to learn, grow and work on their issues so they can be happy in a normal stable relationship, for themselves, their partner and their children.Our local MP Lee Oldenwalden has been notified of the discrimination that this service is perpetuating. Hopefully he will fix this problem for the men and women in our community.
