These girls are amazing! Very friendly and professional, Michelle and Amanda welcomed me with open arms and I left feeling like a queen. They both have extensive knowledge on hair care and colouring that I can trust them to give me honest advice on what will work for my hair to make me look and feel my best. With a selection of great hair products for sale plus accessories and extensions, AURA has it all, not to mention Amanda’s blow dry styling that leaves my long hair bouncing for days!! I highly recommend AURA to everyone and will definitely be back!

Cannot rave about Michelle enough. I live in Esperance and will wait until I'm in Perth just to go see her & have her do my hair! Always great for a chat, clean premises, amazing service & my hair always feels a million bucks when leaving.

Have been seeing Michelle for over 4 years now, following her to 3 different salons. Now I see her in her own beautiful salon that she has created in the Vines resort with the most amazing staff. As a loyal customer of nearly 2 years (every 3 weeks), it is unfortunate to have to leave a negative review, particularly as I have never written one for any other business.The salon is lovely, in a great resort location.Products are wonderful, although frequent changing of them has resulted possibly in part, as a contributing factor in the many inconsistencies both in the outcome of my colour and the constant trialling/lack of knowledge on how they work.Whilst I appreciate teething problems when using new colours and products, it is in no way acceptable to gaslight and blame the client for the inconsistent colour outcomes.Whilst the owner is clearly dedicated and driven, to try new products and techniques, for regular clients who may want consistency and reassurance in knowing what you are getting, maybe this isn't the place to go, as not only will you have something different to what you thought, you will be ostracised for being 'difficult' and hard to please.Clear and friendly communication costs nothing and is always paramount in having successful outcomes.

I don’t like leaving reviews as I usually learn and just move on but I am suffering with my hair being so damaged that I felt I should give others a warning. I know it is only my experience and maybe they had a bad business day but it has left me having a bad hair day everyday. A senior hairdresser consulted on colour, really didn’t listen to what I was asking but I thought she knew what I was asking. She then instructed quickly the apprentice what to do and then didn’t check in again the whole 2 plus hours I was in the chair. I was sitting with bleach on my hair for too long and so all the front of my hair is fried. I don’t blame the apprentice at all as the senior should have noticed how long the beach was on and also should have known whether the apprentice could foil quick enough for what she had asked her to do and to not do any damage to my hair. The senior I believe did not consult well or support their apprentice. When I first booked I was going in for a colour not foils and was happy to have an apprentice apply under the watch of the senior. Instead was talked into foils assuming all doing my hair could and would complete the job successfully. The colour took 3 hours and the bleach was on at for around 1.5 to two hours. I did go back to nicely allow them to rectify what had happened. To be informed I was over charged, $240 was what I had paid for a straight forward colour and blow dry all with the apprentice. If I had not gone back I would not have been reimbursed the amount I had been overcharged. There was no real apology, I was offered an in salon treatment or shampoo and conditioner plus silk scrunchie. I know after the fact, what can they really offer the damage is done but maybe to nurture it and support me until it is better. I have had to now spend over $250 in proper products to try get it manageable and I know it will take a lot longer time plus management, growing and cutting it out before it is back to what it was. I have only been to the salon once and would have kept going back, maybe I should have asked if the bleach was on to long. Just leaving the review so others can be cautious and mindful of the possibilities.

I had the same hair dresser for 12 years and struggled when finding somewhere new to go. As soon as I began coming to Aura, 12 months ago, I knew I would be a customer for life. Staff are friendly and attentive to your needs, the salon is clean and tidy and the communication regarding hair colours was impeccable. I always leave with my hear finished off to a high standard - colour, cut and style. I have a difficult colour to maintain and I have absolute faith in Brooke and she has done all she can to ensure the colour matches exactly what I ask for. She cares for customers and the outcome. So glad I found this beautiful little salon ❤️
