Easy to deal with and without any issues, super friendly person who took the call and sorted everything out

Had a claim with them when my car was broken into. Lumley couldn't have been more helpful, especially when sourcing a hard to find window. Would recommend them to any classic car owner.

They have been my insurer now for 35 years.No problems.

Huge increase in vehicle prices but lumleys not interested in insuring vehicles for the increased price. Customer service person was very understanding and trying to be helpful, but clearly company needs to review it's policies inline with changing market.Lumleys - review your policies or you will start losing customers. It's that simple.

Insured with Lumley for a year, renewal came up and asked if they could review the agreed value of my special vehicle. Mind you I had a professional sunroof installed and new wheels and brand new tyres installed. Staff member said that the value is the same, mind you my care has a full respray a year ago, is in mint condition, with extras rear view camera and handsfree with a new pioneer single din pull out pioneer stereo etc. When I questioned the value, the staff member said that just because the value of these have skyrocketed in the last year, it does not mean they will get the asking price, which I understand. But we are talking a difference of $8k to the current selling price of other vehicles with less options, and more KMs. when compared with two other competitors, shannons offered $4K more and Enthusiest offered $7K more. A good way to lose a loyal customer lumley. P.s You have some arrogant staff who don't know what they are talking about, and need more training. When I asked where you get your figures from , get told that they rely on carsales, gumtree etc. well done to this staff who does not know what he is comparing, as looking at the same sales portals to verify the value, there was not one car less then $5K to what was offered to me. Smart move is to look elsewhere. Dont waste your time.

Absolutely rubbish, don't call them if you are value your time! In Google search they advertise that they are insure hight performance and high value cars, however they only allow to drive your car only once a month!

Please read this as a warning that this insurance company is hands down the most unprofessional business to deal with. Pretty sure it is ran out of a bedroom. Once you have submitted your claim, be prepared for miss information, no follow up calls, be disconnected, and your car to sit in a repair shop for 6 weeks before you yourself have to arrange the assessor to go view your car. Then they expect you to contact the police to find the cars location, repair shop for the repair quote, financial institute for a pay out figure and supply a registration certificate all of which is their job as an insurance company.

The worst insurance company I have ever dealt with.I drive a SUV and Lumley insurance has booked me a small KIA hatchback while my car was in repair. I was not given a choice as to the hire vehicle and was not even asked if I have special need and should therefore be given a specific car, i.e I drive a SUV for work purposes and a small Hatchback was too small for the type of work I do. I could not even call them to change the hire car because they are closed on the weekend.Also Lumley insurance has approved my vehicle repair and i took the car to the repairer, little did i know they cancelled the repair last minute and i had to go through the headache of collecting my vehicle again from the repairer and contact Lumley insurance to re-approve the repair.They are really difficult to deal with and they are not considerate as to their client's needs and comfort.

Good company to deal with for classic car insurance, if your car is on club rego the premium for comprehensive insurance is very reasonable,

Rang today for a quote on renewal. Total waste of time waiting on the phone. Gave up and went to Shannons.
