Wheogo Park
Beautiful place to free camp, public toilets just down the road on the same street. Dump point and fresh water tap on site. Located by the river, fish jumping at 5pm.

Free Camping. It is a close stop over or for staying there over night. Its In front of the Lake with lots of space to park under the trees. Very close to town only a short walk on the foot path. The foot path is all lit up of a night time for a nightly stroll. follow the path and walk under the bridge to see paintings. Can go fishing. The toilets are a short walk to the park next door where there is a cafe also. We really enjoyed our over night stay. Highly recommend.

Great free camping spot right in town. Allowed to pitch a tent. Traffic noise from busy highway to be considered. Very pretty beside the lake. An early morning walk around the mist covered lake is a must do.

Great free camp on the edge of Forbes Lake with lots of flat spots. Some mozzies so spray . Clean toilets and a short walk to supermarket and a bit more into town. Lots of fish and birds and even saw some turtles. Nice and quiet on a Tuesday and locals friendly. Dogs allowed.

Great spot on the Forbes lake. Easy to walk into town and well lit up pathway at night no power but you can get water near dump point, there is 1 tap. First in best dressed and you virtually just pick a spot anywhere. There are toilets a short walk to the next park but I wouldn't walk that far at night if I needed to go though
