Italian Bambinos Gerringong

Was a last moment jump at this place to buy one of the popular Canollis. Looks like we were too late ; it was a long weekend and thus they ran out soon.I bought some random stuff including one of the gluten free cake range. They all tasted great. Highly recommended.Best of all I loved is the great service and how well they talk to the customers.

Don't know if this counts, but passing through, the sweets look so yummy but was too full up to eat, while i was looking the girl there was friendly and had a great smile which is nice to see. So my 5 stars go the customer service. :)

Not sure why some people complained about the customer service. The lady that served me was very nice and even took a photo of a dessert I asked if they make.The mushroom Arancini is super creamy.The lasagne pie was really really good.

First time visitor. Purchased a jam donut and a lemon meringue pie. Wow. Both were exceptionally made and were delicious. Don’t review usually but well done to whoever made them.

Literally disgusting and a rip off. I bought a chicken schnitzel and it was gross. They left tomato sitting in the bread all day and then toasted it so the inside was all mushy and wet and the outside crunchy. Not only that I had a $3.50 macaroon it had a brownie in the inside? I don’t know what type of Italian place does that but it was disgusting. Plus the pies are literally $9 which are below average. I would never go there again if someone paid me. As for customer service 1 of the girls was okay but the other one didn’t have a clue. I don’t usually leave reviews but I was so annoyed I spent nearly $40 on absolute rubbish. Merry Xmas

We recently hired Italian Bambinos to cater for our small elopment in Gerringong. Luke provided incredible service throughout the whole process, with constant communication in the lead up to our day regarding various menu options and ensured everything was organised perfectly. The food provided on the day was incredible and presented so beautifully. Luke and his team delivered 3 separate meals to our venue across the day and ensured everything arrived on time, fresh and immacuately displayed. Five star reviews from all of our guests, we will definitely visit the store next time we are in the area!

Not a great experience of this takeaway. It was almost uncomfortable watching the two visibly stressed (despite not being overly busy) staff members, as they rushed around the place. They were unable to effectively communicate or delegate tasks to one another. They constantly had to be reminded of your order contents, and were unable to identify who had and hadn't paid. When I asked how much longer my food might be, I was told it had just gone in despite just having watched them put something completely different in the microwave. I would have assumed this was a bare faced lie, were they not so incompetent.My mushroom arancini left plenty to be desired, it was not entirely warmed through, and was almost entirely bereft of mushrooms or seasoning of any kind - the melted cheese running through, just about rendered it edible. The frittata would have been fine had it not been almost completely cold. The pastry of my canoli tasted slightly bitter, probably overdone/burnt and yet it somehow managed to be soggy in places. The filling was bland and uninspiring. My coffee was entirely bitter - I suspect they burnt the beans.The food seemed like it had been prepared without any love, care, or attention. And what must be, at some level, a contempt for their customers.All in all a thoroughly unsatisfactory visit. I would avoid if at all possible.

Haven't tried out the restaurent (yet), but had ice creams and little sweets at the take out. All ice creams and sweet treats we tried tasted great. My kids like the tiny tarts and pastries. we had another 6-pack of those yesterday and they all were decorated very sweet and tasted awesome. Ice creams are generous scoops and reasonable priced, the sweets are priced too high for what they are. Service is always friendly and quick. Yes, there is sometimes a long queue at the ice cream, but they do the best they can...
