Hahndorf's Fine Chocolates, Blackburn

Great staff super friendly, it was my first time taking my 2 week old son out by myself and i felf super comfortable and relaxed. I had 1 chocolate which i enjoyed good quality and a tea which was good nothing to complain about next time i will have to try the food.

Lovely staff member and had a delicious hot chocolate and milkshake.Will be definitely be back when in the area.

Wide variety of chocolate options for all ages , nice coffee too , very welcoming and kind staff , even offered a free chocolate with our coffee , will surely come back .

I honestly like the shop, and most assuredly, I would return for more future business.The staff was very friendly, which would have been at the quietest part of the day, so they had the time for the customer.Their chocolates were delicious. I certainly liked the caramel chocolate bar with the hundreds and thousands packed on it.In all honesty, me providing total top scores would be difficult where there needs to be exceptional customer service, but as I said, I would return for future business.

Super yummy chocolate, cakes and biscuits. Staff were warm and friendly. Also has a lovely courtyard at the back for the warmer days. Very highly recommended. Selection of Chocolates is good and the quality is excellent. A surprising find on Springfield road Blackburn.

Love this other Hahndorf's Fine Chocolates. I can ALWAYS do a CALL in Order Takeaway and it's ready when I come to Collect. Run by a Mother and Daughter Team and has a Lovely Little Courtyard out the Back too. The Iced Mocha/Chocolate/Coffee is our Family's Favourite. My Kids Love the Complimentary Chocolate too.

If I could give negative stars, I would. We brought our grandfather here for our weekly outing as he wanted to get some Christmas gifts so we thought we would have brunch at the same time. I called a few days ahead & was told they don’t take bookings, but I confirmed it was a cafe and was assured they served food.Upon arrival this morning, not one staff member acknowledged us, we were left to figure out if we were choosing a table ourselves. After getting everyone settled outside in their courtyard, I went to the counter and asked if they had a menu or if the blackboard with a few options on it (a pie, sausage roll, toastie, raisin toast) was all they served. I was met with a very rude response of “well were a chocolate shop…” okay, no problem. I took a photo of the board so I could show my family what was on offer.We ordered two toasties & a spinach and ricotta roll, a cappuccino, hot chocolate & an iced chocolate.To say I was disappointed with the quality of the food and drinks would be an understatement. The “iced chocolate” was nothing more than a milkshake that barely had any flavour to it, served in an aluminium cup (hardly on par with the fancy vibe they are going for) the hot chocolate was barely chocolatey either. The toasties were honestly something I could have made at home for half the price. The whole experience was a huge let down, the food, drinks and service all extremely subpar. Unfortunately, we will not be returning here.
