BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park
Looking for accomodation, quiet, close to Nelson Bay with fishing close by, we chose Karuah Big 4, not disappointed. Staff were from the outset of making our booking to when we left. Ground staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Karuah shops and Karuah RSL, easy walk from the cabin. Our cabin was close to the jetty. Unfortunate that the weather was against us for sitting down to fish, high temperatures, and then overcast + rain stopped that but for the few days we were at the park, we did lots of activities. Williamtown Fighter World, Salamandar Bay shops, Nelson Bay, and Hunter Valley Animal Park, easy drives.our last evening we walked out onto the jetty, and saw a small pod of Dolphins heading up the river towards the sea. Other wildlife in the park, were a small colony of rabbits we saw early morning, and early evening near our cabin.Photo of early morning on our last day, outside our cabin.Loved the park. Will definitely be coming back.

BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park
This is a nice place to rest up or camp for a week or 2, just 5 minutes off the highway and well away from the truck noise, quiet and serene with all the Big4 attributes and spacious campsites.The jetty is good for a walk or fishing with lovely views of the Karuah River. Amenities are clean and serviceable and management extremely helpfull. Have stopped here twice and enjoyed our stays.

Ensuite site was ok although shower cubicle was very small and no place for holding items of clothing etc. Not near pool area either. Pool, playground and Camp kitchen areas are very good. The 250mtr jetty is good.

We had a lrg drive through site which made it so easy for us. Amenities were lovely and clean , very user friendly. Our fur baby was also welcome and happy here.

we only stayed over night the drive through sites we ok. toilet blocks close and clean. old but working and clean. friendly helpful staff.

Had a great week with our grandson. Kid friendly. Amenities were basic but clean enough. Could do with some more laundry facilities. The site we had was a concrete powered van site. The jetty looks like it was flood affected, needs some work. Great price for a peak season stay. Very reasonable.

BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park
Visit Karuah for the fresh oysters, but this time sadly no more - we spent 2 nights here, and enjoyed our stay, kitchen, showers, etc clean and well maintained, staff are great. Love the jetty for the evening walks, and if you up early or late you can catch a glimpse of the bunnies :) Will definitely come back

BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park
My family and I came here for 5 nights just before Christmas. The park is exceptionally well maintained, and the facilities meet every need you could imagine.There are two toilet blocks, one smaller block central to the games room, pool, etc. The other one is much bigger and includes the laundry. Both are either relatively new or have been renovated in the last few years.The jumping pillow, playground, games room, pool, exercise equipment, tennis court and volleyball court mean that there is more than enough to keep everyone entertained.Karuah is pretty small, so don't expect much in the way of shops. But there is an IGA, bottle shop and a few places selling coffee.The caravan sites are mostly a very good size, and even when the park was mostly full it didn't seem overly busy or crowded.Great for families and for relaxing.

1. Bed sheet is not clean, and doubt if it has been changed from last guest.2. Wifi connection day one ok, then cannot be connected on the second day.3. Not sure why the building has some noises during nights(now 11:48pm). Sounds like water hammer, are we too close to the pump station? Wooden structure squeeze each other due to temperature? Very Unhappy with this.4. The Environment is good.

BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park
We had one of the new cabins and it was great. The park itself is not so good. Staff were not friendly and the park feels like it's run down and unloved.
