CANCELED ON MY WEDDING DAY BY TEXT MESSAGE!On the 15th October I got married to my best friend but the day started off very stressful.6.05am I received a text to say we cannot get hair done and only make up as due to a family emergency of the stylist and unable to find a replacement.I understand that life happens but would you not contact some clients that only are getting there regular appointments done and explain the situation? I’m sure anyone like myself would say take my appointment it’s her wedding!Would you not pick up the phone and have the courtesy to break this news to me over a conversation?Would you not give me recommendations for someone else or another salon?To then not even reply when I say it’s me wedding day and I need both done so you will have to cancel I can’t chose one or the other I need someone to do both!I was fortunate that by all of my friends calling around as we don’t live in tweed, lucky to find a wonderful lady who actually does know this salon and send over work to them so that in itself shows me the salon was never going to help me or care as I’m not a regular and they can make more money off colours and treatments then me!Disappointed with the lack to no customer service or care and regardless of wether or not they do great hair, I would never go here or recommend them based on my experience!

A first time visit to this saloon was great. Was a bit unsure as am new to the area. The staff were friendly and professional and was very happy with the colour (blonde highlights). Very impressed. I'll be back!

The staff make you feel comfy and so do their custom leather salon chairs. The staff make you feel like you're apart of their little chelsi hair family.Products they use are high quality and somehow still manage to be exceptional priced. Easily the best value for money hair and make up salon in northern rivers and SE Qld.Above and beyond everytime, from chocolates to organic herbal teas to the right essential oils for you.My partner loves this place and to be honest when she is happy I am happy so thank you Chelsi hair + make up.

I've been going to Chelsi hair & makeup for 2 years now and wouldn't trust anyone else to do my hair. Always feel absolutely splendid walking out and recommend the salon to all my friends and family!

Went in for full head of foils to start my journey back to blonde from my auburn hair. I left with blonde tiger stripes, some parts the honey blonde I eventually wanted to achieve and other parts still the same red. Hardly blended well, I wasn’t expecting to achieve the blonde I wanted straight away but definitely did not want to leave with such stripey hair. Very disappointing, I have a new baby so hard enough to find the time to get in, I spent over $300 to have this done. I’ve been blonde from a much darker colour a few times and have never had such a horrible outcome before

I love coming here, the staff are all such good people and make you feel extremely comfortable and relaxed when you are there. They are also amazing at what they do, i won't go anywhere else!
