Great ambiance, very knowledgeable staff. Gin Padders is a recommendation. Definitely try both Paddle 1 & 2. Angry ant & Gin 10 were our favourites. Cheese platter goes well to share.

This distillery was located in a back industrial area of Dromana, nearby a few other brewery’s and distillery’s. The outdoor area was vibrant and the staff were helpful in selecting a tasting. We tried a couple of different flights, as well as a few of their delicious cocktails. The only thing that could have improved our experience was there was no music outside!

Tucked away in Dromana this is a must do" place to visit and enjoy. We tried both of the sample paddles (8 gins in total) and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Even the platter food was delicious."

Bass & Flinders Distillery
I went here with a friend for the master-class. It was so much fun. You learned a bit about Gin and all the botanicals, then get to mix your own gin. I will certainly enjoy my gin when I get back home.At the bar the tasting paddles are great, the pairing with tonic and garnish is well done.ALL the staff certainly know their stuff and are very friendly.

4.1Bass and Flinders distillery is terrific. It’s located in newly opened premises which are spacious and comfortable. There was ample room here on a long weekend which is a great sign. There’s plenty of room inside and a nice outdoor area too although could do with a few more umbrellas.We had a tasting here today at $12 each. The gins are superb. Interesting and flavoursome. Not cheap but really lovely. One of our group also had a coffee which was nicely made. Service was good albeit a little chaotic at the start.The distillery is a fun must visit place in this area. Recommended.

This place was amazing!! A selection of about 7 gins on the tasting paddles, like 30 different cocktail options and delicious cheese and antipasto boards!Seriously the limoncello & raspberry gin cocktail was the best drink I’ve had in a while, coming from an avid cocktail drinker!The staff were amazing and the overall vibe here was great. Outdoor heaters and blankets really saved us too!!

Visited B&F distillery on a whim whilst down on the coast.Extremely pleasant experience! Upon arriving I saw another group enjoying a high tea with scones, the waitress taking our order told me that it had to be pre-booked but to our surprise she gave me and my partner some scones anyway!I never knew scones and gin go so well together.We both tried different types of negroni cocktails, and the charcuterie board both were perfect to enjoy in the sun.We received a complimentary gin fizz cocktail, as they were taking some professional photos of the venue on the day, this was extremely generous and appreciated.All the staff at the distillery were very pleasant to interact with and I will 100% be coming back to try more cocktails!

What a wonderful experience the Gin Masterclass was! Lots of information about gin and its history. Our host was terrific. We then had a lot of fun developing our own bespoke gin which was presented to us on our departure. We would recommend this to any gin lover!!

I have been to Bass & Flinders a few times and I have never been disappointed. They have a great range of boutique gins and it’s always great to see some of their “out of the box” gin, my favourite so far is the Angry Ant gin.I recently attended the Gin Making Master Class and it was great. It was fascinating to see everything that goes into making him and getting to create your own gin with your own favourite flavours. JP who took the class was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and help.Would recommend the class for anyone who loves their gin or just their alcohol in general.
