Staff were extremely friendly & ever so helpful which always makes you feel better about spending money. Huge selection of jewellery & other tempting stuff & the shop is set up beautifully & inviting. If I lived I'm Canberra it would definitely be my preferred choice of jewellery store.

McGlades designed my wedding band in 2019 and the service and communication was excellent, my ring is beautiful and exactly as expected. More recently, I have dropped mine and hubby's rings in for upkeep and rhodium plating. Very fair pricing and quick turnarounds so that we don't have to be without our rings for long. The service is always friendly and helpful, and never pretentious (like what I have experienced at other jewelers). It is wonderful seeing our rings so shiny, as it reminds me of when they were brand new. Thank you team!

The staff were extremely helpful. They gave me quotes for the two items that I wanted to get made. There was no pressure to proceed, they said I could come back when I was ready. So I went back today and proceeded with one of the quotes. Very happy with the service.

As is my tendency, I left shopping for my daughters birthday until the last moment. I visited multiple jewellery shops trying to find earrings to match a necklace she has, with no luck. The staff at McGlades were excellent, and while not having exactly what I needed at hand, they offered to urgently hand make what I needed. I picked up the earrings less than 24 hours later, just in time for her birthday. The earrings are perfect, and my daughter is very happy, and so am I! Thankyou so much McGlades!

I have been a customer of McGlades since September 1987. The service I’ve received from Angie and the team has always been exceptional. The work I have had done by McGlades are either designing, remodeling or restoring pieces of jewellery. Angie’s design advice is simple and the best. The end product is always very good. The craftsmanship is excellent. I’ve also bought jewellery from them. I love McGlades and recommend them for new products, redesigning, remodeling and restoration of your pieces of jewellery. The integrity of their works and products is second to none.

McGlades has outperformed high expectations when crafting my custom pieces, an 18kt gold lapel pin for my Mexican Fire Opal and a rose gold pendant for my boulder opal. Both look even more stunning in their new homes and their craftsmanship feels robust yet elegant. Highly recommend.
