Absolute rip off, stuffed my house and have tried to contact for several years to no avail, Erin is a thief and they were even drinking on the job, definitely avoid this mob and they do not garrentee their work. Several attempts to contact them but they stalled it past the 6 years frame, they gave no proper receipts, they couldn't even get the stumps level from porch to house, house is falling to pieces due to their work and is now unsellable, they didn't eve have a permit I found out later, avoid this mob at all costs.

We are currently purchasing a house in Nanango that was moved to it's current address by Atlas house Removers in late 1991.The house was placed on concrete stumps and amazingly the floor is even and level over the entire house and the stumps look as though they have only been done recently. There is no doubt that Atlas aspire to a very high level of workmanship and care in carrying out the re positioning of their removal homes.

We bought a removal home from Atlas recently and would recommend them. Moving a whole house (especially down suburban streets like ours) is something that never goes completely to plan, and the guys from Atlas demonstrated exceptional skill and determination to get it done. As someone with no experience in this sort of thing it was good to feel they were always on our side trying for the best result.

Atlas are an amazing team. Family business with great pride and care in the work they do and the business they uphold with clients. Erin and her team went well out of the way to make sure my house removal, approvals and stumping was a great success. They have generations of experience, knowledge and advice to share. I had never undertaken a project like this before and I am forever thankful I choose Atlas to work with. THANKS TO THE WHOLE TEAM AT ATLAS!

I Just removed a home from Wellcamp to Gatton and I had a fantastic experience with the Atlas team. From admin Wendy to the organizer extraordinaire Erin the experience was 1st class. Not only did Erin take care of all the Council requirements for me but she gave me invaluable help with the next process of whats required to finish the house and get the final. Wonderful people to work with.

Unfortunately a very poor experience with this company. We wanted the house very badly. The communication was highly unprofessional. When we finally moved to contract stage Wendy and Erin refused to engage in any dialogue about the contract nuances even though many details were incorrect, blatantly exploitative or just merely written by someone who has no clear knowledge of contract law. We utilised the assistance of our lawyer who advised us that there was no possible way the contract was written by a solicitor, it was that bad. When I kindly requested to discuss contract clauses with them I received an email stating they refused to negotiate and the house was no longer available. I even contacted Mackay and Sons and discussed some of the clauses with them- they agreed some of the clauses in the Atlas contract were totally inappropriate. We tried our hardest to make these negotiations clean and simple and courteous and received such bitter and lazy responses. We could not recommend this company. Very sad experience and sadly a beautiful 100yo Queenslander will sit neglected in their yard for another two years. I expect they will reply and make claims that suggest the above is not true- classic response to a bad review, but honestly I rarely leave reviews, only when I genuinely feel some inclination to protect the public from being exploited. Check your contract, don’t be taken for a ride by ATLAS.

We'd give 6 stars if we could. Atlas' work was of an extremely high quality, exquisite attention to detail and we couldn't be happier with the job. My partner works as a builder on housing projects and has worked on several jobs with other removal home companies and was a bit apprehensive after some of the things he'd seen. But everything Atlas did was great. They are a family business so they all work really well together and care greatly about the quality of the work and the reputation of their business, and they were just a great bunch of lads. They were so patient and careful when putting the house back together, and putting all of the stumps in properly despite it being gruelling work at times. It's the family trade and they know exactly what they are doing, it's clear. Also, they were extremely honest throughout the contract stage, there were no surprises at the end, everything was made clear before anything was signed. Cheers guys!

I've been meaning to write this review for a while to express not only how awesome this company are but my heartfelt gratitude for the work they did for us. Atlas moved a house for us from Brisbane area to the Northern Rivers. They did such an incredible job all the way through, not just the viewing of the home in Brisbane but the follow up dialogue as we tried to work out how this was all done, the actual move itself which was smooth and without any problems, and then the stumping and putting it all back together which was so exciting to see and just lovely to do site visits and spend some time with this fabulous team. We stumped the house extra high and have a concrete slab below. So many of the people that came to work on the house, the company that laid the slab, the earthworks, the painters and plumbers, all commented on what a great job Atlas had done. Erin who runs the family business linked us up to the original owners who sent us old photos of the house being built. We've stayed in contact and sent photos of the house on the news site and i hope one day they will visit. It's indicative of the kind of relationships and connections that were part of our experience with this company. Thank you Erin and all at Atlas , hope one day we can celebrate together on the verandah of Brigid!. Liz.
