Murringo Barracks

Murringo Barracks , once the Town Police station . Includes front desk , court room , lock up cells & muchmore . Stables for the horses . Used , back then by the mounted Police .Having recently visited Murringo to stay at the Barracks with its historic history also more recentlyestablished amazing Art Gallery by Therese & Mark Crowe . Totally worth viewing ! Great work .The future of B & B accommodation will be available in the very near future .Its modern with everyconvenience & there working on more , making it wheel chair accessible . I do have disabilities & use awalker , I had no problem’s.The hospitality & care was above & beyond .I highly recommend a trip there .It’s picturesque surrounds, tranquil fresh atmosphere , has ever so much to do & look at in the area .Cheers enjoy your trip , Julie

A beautiful weekend at Murringo Barracks, warm & comfortable, despite the chilly temperatures outside. Our friendly hosts ensured we had all we could need, fresh bread delivered for breakfast and a lovely selection of home made goodies. The quiet village was the perfect escape from the city and we really enjoyed the historic walk to learn some of the local history. The gallery was a wonderful bonus, and must for art lovers. We will be back.
