iCanMed has truly been an amazing experience for me. Unlike any other UCAT course, iCanMed actually takes time to individually dissect and teach the students all of the different UCAT question types. Their practise questions are also extremely reflective of what you see in the real UCAT test. Their 5-step process is very logical and easy to follow.Just like their UCAT course, iCanMed’s Interview Course also thoroughly prepares the students to a high standard so that they stand out against other candidates competing for a medical seat. The best thing about iCanMed’s interview course is that unlike training students to rehearse and memorise responses, they aim to develop your interview responding skills so that the candidate sounds genuine and hence stands out amongst everyone else.What I liked most about iCanMed is that they have a 24 hour support policy where you can ask as many questions as you need to. Michael and Ashton’s dedication to this course and most importantly to their students really amazed me, especially when they answered any question I had at inconvenient hours such as 1 AM in the morning. They also checked up on me to make sure I was not slacking off and that I was on track with everything.Apart from stellar UCAT and interview tutoring, iCanMed also teaches their students time-management techniques to keep enough time to properly prepare for the UCAT and interviews without sacrificing their ATAR.Till today I am truly grateful to Ashton, Michael and the whole iCanMed team for helping me achieving my dreams of studying medicine; and I would 100 percent recommend their programme to anybody who really wants to excel in the UCAT and the Medical Interviews.

iCanMed is definitely the most comprehensive UCAT course there is. They teach detailed and specific strategies for every question type you could encounter in the UCAT, with targeted problem-solving strategies to address anything you may be struggling with. The course itself is very structured and easy to follow, which made it much easier for me to balance UCAT preparation with school. I would recommend starting this course as early as possible and putting in the effort and time to learn the strategies that they teach to get the most out of it. The amount of effort put into this course is amazing, and Michael and Ashton have been truly so supportive during the entirety of my UCAT journey.

My journey with iCanMed started with a free 3-hour webinar about UCAT and medicine, which completely upended my misconceptions about UCAT preparation. After hearing the amazing results and testimonials from past iCanMed students, I decided to join iCanMed. Other than the comprehensive course, what impressed me the most was the level of support from iCanMed's founders, Michael and Ashton. Their 24-hour turnaround time for answering questions was exactly what I needed, being a neurotic overachiever who wanted 100% certainty that they were on the right track. On the online UCAT course, I would ask question after question, yet Ashton would patiently answer every query to dispel any lingering uncertainty I had. At times it felt like my hard work didn't seem to be paying off, but Michael was always there to show me a new perspective and prevent my insecurities from taking over. Apart from UCAT preparation, I was amazed at how meticulous iCanMed was in helping their students with every little detail of medical entry, including the often-overlooked applications and interviews. They also made sure to let students know about anything else that could streamline the process, from scheduling a UCAT date and venue to the best order to take mock exams.Without a doubt, Michael is the greatest mentor I have ever had and I am beyond grateful for his and Ashton's extraordinary support and guidance. In Year 11, I was working hard on UCAT resources and tutorials I found online but I was not seeing any improvement and still had no clue how to solve questions. I tried finding resources and used other websites but still struggled to understand how to do the questions.iCanMed gave me access to step-by-step tutorials on understanding the question types and how to decode questions and solve it. It took time but I learnt all the important parts of the process which eventually made it easier to answer questions. The online community is really helpful and if I had any doubts there was help available.The Michael and Ashton are fantastic in their teaching approach and ensured that I understood what was taught and if I had any questions to not hesitate and was left with no doubts.Would highly recommend their interview pro course as it has invaluable lessons that I could not find from other resources and I also recommend their UCAT course.

iCanMed is perhaps one of the best companies out there that helps students get into medicine school. The teachers are all extremely talented and wonderful people, especially Michael. Michael is a super genuine mentor and he provides his students with the best advice and mentorship that they can ever wish for. Compared to other teachers, Michael will go extra miles to make sure students have the best chances in succeeding. I would highly recommend his course to students who possess a genuine desire to study medicine.

For me iCanMed was more than just UCAT prep. They taught me about the importance of mindset and self-confidence in all aspects of life beyond school and university which has helped me immensely. Michael and Ashton's willingness to answer any questions, whether that be via messages or phone calls, is amazing and at the end of the day their is no doubt that their course is highly qualified and well-researched.

iCanMed is truly an amazing program. Both Michael and Ashton put a lot of time and effort into every single one of their students, never failing to provide quality advice and in-depth feedback (always within 24 hours!!). iCanMed is a must for ensuring success in the UCAT. Michael and Ashton both do an excellent job in covering all the intricacies of preparation. Unlike other companies that focus on mindlessly doing thousands of questions, iCanMed does a great job at focussing on the key skills required to perform well in the UCAT, saving students hours of time needed for preparation.ICM has also helped my interview experience go smoothly, giving tips and teaching the best method to ace med school interviews. I highly reccomend both the UCAT course and the Interview Elite Course for anyone who is serious about becoming a doctor.

Icanmed is an amazing platform to learn how to ace the UCAT. From firsthad experience, Icanmed not only taught me to study for the ucat, but taught me how to think deeper and critically analyse and self reflect, which was pivotal to my overall development. Do yourself a favour, and get the course.

iCanMed is quite possibly the worst UCAT service you can use. Firstly, the tutors can be very rude and dismissive of your concerns. I remember one time politely asking one of the tutors to clarify their point as I had noticed THEY had made a mistake which directly contradicted their advice prior. Instead of just owning up to it and clarifying, they berated me with my FULL NAME on display during the webinar and basically attempted to convince me into thinking that I was the one in the wrong. Helpful teachers have the humility to recognise they’re wrong and won’t attempt to humiliate students like this. They also love telling their students who often have legitimate questions to “go back and watch the video” or something along those lines which I believe is very dismissive and useless. Their material, in my opinion, is a waste of time. Using iCanMed actually felt VERY counterproductive to my UCAT preparation as I could’ve spent my time doing practice questions which helped me improve instead of doing their pointless exercises (my opinion, yet again). They’ll spend hours upon hours trying to convince you that their method is the absolute best but ultimately, I can honestly say, that this course that they’ve supposedly spent “thousands of hours” on has taught me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Overall, I would recommend iCanMed to a grand total of ZERO people because I cannot, in good faith, advocate for desperate medical school applicants (especially stressed-out year 12 students!) using a service that wastes time, wastes money and includes some of the most arrogant tutors I’ve ever come across. I know that their reply to my review is going to be some beautifully crafted passive aggressive rant but I want everyone reading my review to know my honest experiences with the service.
