Rosebud Early Learning

By far the very best centre we found on the peninsula! Such a natural and saying approach for our little girls. The first time in child care, and I was extremely apprehensive about doing itMartene is the best educator there, with her motherly touch and down to earth sense of humour, she is both compassionate and warm and my daughter was obsessed with her. I love her passion for what she does, and it has made a significant difference in my daughters lives. Thank you guys, and thank you martene ! god bless x

5 star child care and 5 star staff!!!REL have an amazing team of caring staff. They have always done their very best to care for my son and he has always loved going to daycare. He has been there since they opened at the beginning 2021 and will continue there until he starts school. They will keep you informed and will show you confidence that they will put your child’s needs first.I am grateful I chose them to care for my son and will continue to, along with starting my new born there in 6 months time also :)

Cannot praise Rosebud Early Learning enough! The team makes us feel welcome and part of a community that genuinely cares about our family. Our daughter struggles with separation anxiety and the staff went above and beyond to help her feel safe during transition to childcare. They even organised special activities in the room based on her interest in dinosaurs. The staff in our sons room know him so well and it’s evident that they really care for him and our family. Remembering details about big events coming in the week or making cards for him when he has been hospitalised is just a few examples. Pim the chef cooks meals that my son (with multiple allergies) can eat and even goes to the effort of trying to ensure they look similar to the regular food so that he doesn’t feel left out. Knowing the kids are looked after is so important and Rosebud Early Learning has become like a second family to us.

Was originally happy with educators, most of whom have since left the centre. Unfortunately inadequate staffing to child ratios, incorrect billing and terrible communication was what we experienced. Would never recommend.

With this centre being our first centre and attempt of childcare I have been nothing but disappointed. We have had constant problems with being charged for days my son doesn’t even attend. I have been in three times now and the problem still has not be rectified. Then this morning being told by Jenny my son had to get a covid test before he can continue care even though we had already had a medical certificate stating he has different intolerances and is in no way contagious, but the director (Jenny) refused to even view the certificate. I then requested to speak to higher up about the situation regarding his intolerances and problems I’ve been having and was greeted by being hung up on. Very unprofessional and not willing to help, understand or rectify problems.my bank account has been overdrawn and the centre has been notified of it for 4 months now with my now emails being ignored. Then Jenny told me in writing that they in fact owe Me money and have now not transferred that into my nominated bank account.If you want the headache of contacting this centre daily, getting ignored, getting hung up on and problems not being resolved this would be the centre for you.

Exceptional service provided by this modern and down to earth daycare centre. Highly recommend! The learning opportunities for children are amazing, they are able to learn to care for the centres animals, help cook with the very talented chef and pick their own veggies from the veggie garden. And the most important part, the educators, they are genuine and trustworthy.

Incredibly disappointing experience at this centre. Little to no communication, no direct contact with the kinder teacher, meeting requests ignored and then blamed on another party who was no longer employed at the centre or able to speak for themselves. They consistently lose items of clothing and once it took almost two weeks to recover a pair of shoes taken home by the wrong family. Children never have shoes on when being collected, just brought out “as is”, clothes ruined constantly. Kinder students not receiving adequate support, no evidence of school preparation whatsoever in the six months our son attended.When we finally got the requested meeting, it was rescheduled due to the Directors sick leave, she then didn’t bother attending the second date. Complete lack of interest and care.After withdrawing from the centre via email we received no follow up no questions about why. the Director ignored my following emails regarding finances, neglected to tell her Asst Director who rang me for an unrelated matter the next day, nor told the kinder staff. But kept me on the mailing lists.When touring this centre I was dazzled by the facilities but the entire centre falls far short of even the most basic expectations.

I am so happy we found Rosebud Early Learning for my little boy to attend. From the moment we toured the centre to 3 months on with him attending 4 days a week, I have felt like an extension of the REL family. The educators bring exceptional care, fun and professionalism to the room every day and I've been impressed with the quality of the daily meals and the facilities.

The educators here are amazing! They’re so attentive and focused on each child, I always feel so comfortable dropping my child off knowing that they’ll be in good hands. The meals are super nutritious and sound delicious, the centre itself is lovely and new and the inside/outside area is very inclusive for all ages. Highly recommend Rosebud Early Learning to anyone who is looking for a beautiful daycare to send their bubba to!

A very modern and innovative early education centre; lots of interesting programs, amazing food and animals for the kids to learn about - or maybe the animals are just my favourite thing to see when I come in lol.They have a really nice community feel about them, and as somebody who works in the social welfare sector, I can appreciate that they (particularly their Assistant Director, Leesa) understand, recognise and action, the belief that community development begins with a great early education experience. The early years are so important and the REL team are great!
