Phoned to put in a request to have a chicken cooked up for us and that we'd down at a fixed time.When we got there, the bird was all ready and waiting for us. But, BUt, BUT, when we got home to eat it, we didn't expect the bird to be all nicely cut up for us. They went the EXTRA step for us and sectioned it. Thank you so much. It really saved us the effort. Oh, BTW, their food is outstanding! Fresh, HOT and tasty. My mouth waters each time I walk in, place my order and walk out the door minutes later with the hot food. Their food is so quickly and NEATLY put together that I think presentation is what it's all about with the Woodville Fish and Chippery Shop. Great job and repeat customer, here. Thank you, again.

Great original fish and chippery. The hamburger with the lot is good. Really good. This place is now my regular.Updated - Still the best hamburgers in town.

Friendly customer service. Eftpos available. Butterfish was ok, flesh mine n flaky but batter too soggy. Hand cut chips were 9/10, full marks if more consistent in crunchy texture.

Fish is fresh, crispy on the outside, soft inside. Chips are crunchy and well seasoned. Great customer service. Very affordable.

Used to come here when i was young, went today 25 years on and the burger is still as good as it was back then. A proper burger tasy patty, not oily etc original owner still working there and makes an incredible burger. One of the last original fish and chip shops getting around..

We have loved this fish n chip shop and regularly got take-out especially over summer months. Unfortunately tonight’s takeout was disappointing compared to normal and seemed to have been cooked to a different standard. Has/Is a change of ownership/management taken/taking place?

Solid fish and chip joint. Chips are great as is the freshly cooked fish. Reasonably priced, 2 people full and under $20. Can’t fault them.

Its ALL GREAT" here just as the best fish n chip shops were meant to be. Chips the way they always were...VERY affordable (probably cheaper than others i know)
