I had a new home built and HEQ was contracted to install the NBN. On my floor plan the NBN box was to be installed on the right hand side of my garage, with this knowledge I had my electrician run an additional network cable to this point. When HEQ came, without telling me, without being asked and without consideration to the work done by my electrician they chose to install the NBN box in a different location, the back wall of the garage, now I have a network cable going to nowhere behind the right hand wall and multiple unusable network ports throughout the house. If this is what you get from years of experience I would recommend you wait a few more years before having heq do any work on your house.
