Wimmera Mallee Pioneer Museum

First time I've been there, had a great time, well worth the 4 hour drive . A lot of interesting exhibits and machinery from the early days of farming in the area.Will be returning

Excellent amount of history. Very well laid out with homes, businesses and machinery sheds. The memorabilia inside each is unbelievable, needs to be seen to be believed.

Great half day out...lots to see for everyone and well put together

Surprise highlight of the day! Short stop-over in Dimboola saw us drive to Jeparit to view Lake Hindmarsh. It was dry (apparently its normal state) but fortunately the volunteer-operated Museum was open. Huge grounds with variety of historic buildings filled with eclectic range of history. Certainly worth a visit. Recommend.

What a great morning 40 members of the St.Arnaud.Kara Kara Probus Club had last week visiting your wonderful museum.We were warmly greeted by volunteer Brian who had arranged morning tea for us all. We were given sheets and brochures to understand how it was all set up and answered any questions put to him.We all had a great time visiting all the buildings containing items from the earlier days, many of which a lot of us had grown up with. These brought back many happy memories and lots of chatter. The sums on the blackboard in the school got some of us thinking. How things have changed.. The men in our group had the cameras out and enjoyed poking around in the machinery sheds. We had a great morning and all left with smiles on our faces.Everything was displayed very well and were all neat and tidy as were the grounds of the museum. We all thought it was the best museum we had visited. Very well set out.Simon from the local shire helped out with questions etc as well.

It's a wonderful and informative place for young and old. There are lots of really interesting things of yesteryear. Welcoming volunteers on hand to answer your questions. Highly recommend

A great trip through time...looking into the local history of farming machinery and lifestyles..a must do.

One of the best pioneer parks we have been too. Spend almost 3 hours looking at everything. Well worth the drive to visit.
