Really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious, great service and peaceful dining. I found the options very authentic and beautifully served. I can't fault this place at all, as I ate everything so quickly - in fact I forgot to take the picture until I'd almost finished my Tuna Shashimi and nagiri (yummm!!!)

Japan is a country of mountains and cities each city has it own identity but they all respect crisp icey beer , the clean type, they serve a rice larger beer in a difficult to touch chilled glass and it perfectly compliments the soft tastes of their menu, order to share and enjoy the person your talking to the food and service will only compliment your experience.

I have been there twice now and really like the food. I specially like the rainbow roll, but everything I tried was delicious. I really liked the sake drink too. Lots of good cold options, I just miss more warm/hot dishes. Will keep coming back!

This was the first place I went to after 67 days inthe Papuan jungle and it was my best decision in that time - the rolls were exquisite and fresh, and the imported Japanese beer selection is amazing. Would definitely visit again!

The sushi was fresh and delicious, we tried most of the rolls and they were all good. I especially liked the karaage chicken roll. They had all the other expected a la carte items on the menu too. It was a nice casual Japanese restaurant with indoor seating. They had a limited range of cocktails and beers too. Would come back again!

Great place!Food is fresh and tasty. The presentation of food is also on a good level: tea is served in nice teapot, sushi and sashimi are great-looking.The place is cozy but still have enough space to come with kid and they have 2 highchairs.There is a street parking but also place itself has car park.I will definitely come back again

Made a booking late and chose the option to sit on the footpath outside, would have been better taking the bar overlooking the street to avoid foot traffic and some inconsiderate cigarette smoker waiting for a takeaway. Great selection of Japanese inspired fusion dishes. Salmon on asparagus and the pork belly mains were delectable. Recommend the eggplant tsukemono and cucumber salad. Yuzu beverage on a hot night was a perfect accompaniment for me and the Asahi super dry draft beer was the thirst quencher needed by my dining partner. Top notch. We’ll be back! 美味しくて堪らなかった。おつかれさまでした！

Highly recommend Sunny Doll restaurant. Delicious food, excellent service and very affordable prices. BYO wines which was great as there is a bottle shop just around the corner. We will be back for sure!
