The price for books here is higher than other places but the facilities are not good enough. However, they do have a considerably large range of books and things and store locates in a convenient place.

As a burgeoning intellectual (as demonstrated by my use of the word burgeoning), I am a cobber who often reads after setting the tools down for the day. QBD nourishes my with many book options sold to me by friendly staff. I enjoyed my experience here but I was stunned by the inclusion of 'dropbear' in the classics section, so I would love to see QBD's criteria for deciding what classics are (I am happy to sit on any advisory panels, obviously). Great place for the majority of your reading needs. Super helpful staff who are more than happy to help you find what you are after. One of the few places that has a large selection of manga, unfortunately it is a little behind on keeping stock.

Fantastic bookshop, have visited here a couple of times now. Friendly staff, great selection of books and cheaper than RRP. Only subtracted a single star because there are rows of lights on the fritz. It’s a bookshop, you need good lighting and there was over a week between my visits with the lights still not working properly. Other than that, good as gold.

This is an awesome place to get a bargain on books. I've found quite a few gems for half the cost of what I would pay elsewhere. The books are not always in pristine condition but still worth the money. The Emporium QBD has a fairly wide selection.
