As per previous venues visited on our tour - our experience felt unprepared. The first 15 minutes was spent waiting for service as a group of 2 were in the middle of a cheese and gin tasting. We were a large group of 11 and the venue and more than 3/4 of the outdoor seating area were available yet we were made to stand and wait until the group of 2 had finished. Our cheese tasting proceeded standing- each cheese being placed in your hand. No napkin, plate or fork offered. No crackers. No reference sheet. Vodka/Gin tasting followed and was a similar laid back experience - you asked for what you wanted to taste and were provided with a breakdown of the product. A costing/tasting sheet was not provided and had to be asked for. Overall, lovely spot over looking the bay. Cheeses were delightful and the Vodka interesting. I would not return given the experience- I personally prefer more history and run down of the process and felt the experience was more rushed + pushed to make you purchase (rather than return).

Delicious 3 cheese toastie.Kakadu plum Hand cream from ewe's milk is the best, and not to mention the vodka and the different flavours that are distilled. Hoping on our next visit, the menu will have improved some what. But overall, it's a beautiful and peaceful and not to mention relaxing.....

Great place. We did the $15 taster and learnt about the cheeses and spirits as we sampled. Lunch was the grazing platter where they accommodated my gluten free request. Worth the money and drive from Hobart. Wonderful experience with views to Bruny Island.

Beautiful place to try their lovely cheeses and have a glass of wine. I tried one of the jaffles, which is served with their homemade mustard, and it was very tasty. Highly recommend and would visit again.

I have never had sheep cheese before but I did like the “old man” cheese and the “lemon myrtle “ cheese. I wasn’t a fan of the vodka tasting but I am not a vodka drinker! All in all it was a lovely place to visit and the people there were extremely nice and helpful! The view from the verandah was amazing! Worth visiting!
