Adrian and team helped me move into my unit last Friday and unfortunately, the experience wasnt as positive as I had hoped it would be. Adrian was on time and efficient to begin with but then he really started to slow down. There was some rain (which was expected but significantly less than predicted) and a few issues with the lift, however, the move dragged on. The time in between each trip bringing the furniture from the truck up to the unit was getting longer and longer so my partner went downstairs to see what was going on and found Adrian and his workmate standing around in the back of the truck doing nothing. When I spoke to Adrian about this he blamed the rain, however there was a foyer full of boxes and furniture items that could have been brought up to the unit while he waited for the rain to ease. I was concerned about how long the move was taking from a financial aspect so I tried to speak to Adrian about working out an arrangement that suited the both of us so that we both werent affected by the situation as the rain and the lift issues were neither my fault or his but Adrian was snappy with me and wouldnt compromise. I was not impressed with Adrian's customer service and expressed my dissatisfaction over the final bill but he shrugged it off in a 'too bad' kind of manner. I was overcharged and was not given the respect or consideration I would have expected from a service provider. My experience with Adrian and team was disappointing to say the least.

We used this business to move our elderly parents into a retirement village. They were very helpful with boxes and answering our queries promptly. On the day of the move I particularly liked how the last items packed from kitchen ect were first items unloaded along with my parents armchairs as this helped our parents feel comfortable quickly. Thank you for helping make a stressful time much easier for our family.

In 2017 I moved from Noosa Heads to Brisbane and hired Sunshine Coast removals. As I’ve since moved again from Brisbane to Canberra using one of the largest and oldest removal companies in Australia I now realise how fortunate I was to hire Sunshine Coast removals. The uplift of my possessions from Sunshine Coast was carried out whilst I was in hospital yet my friend who let them into my premises revealed to me nothing was a fuss or bother and likewise, I was able to oversee the delivery where all my possessions were delivered safely and without any damage. The delivery crew was courteous and professional and whilst moving furniture is a hard form of employment, they were cheerful and happy going about their business.On the other hand my last move using what I thought was a company I could trust given their history was in a nutshell “bloody awful”. The uplift from Brisbane was fine but it was the delivery in Canberra that wasn’t. $3,000 worth of damage mainly to my furniture but it was the arrogant, rude, condescending and argumentative behaviour I most took exception too.Admittedly a lot of companies subcontract their crews however they are still representing the company they are contracted to.So if I had my time again, I wouldn’t assume “the big boys” are necessarily the best and armed with what I know now I’d be looking at the smaller companies like Sunshine Coast Removals to look after my valuables.
