Got misquoted a price and they replaced a part I did not ask to be replaced. Get your electronics replaced elsewhere these people will scam you

they took my phone for 50 dollars, took more than a week to buy parts for it, then just decided they can't repair it anyway, thanks for basically stealing my phone for a week

Had my ipad screen replaced and had to send it back because the screen wasn't put in properly so they fixed it and it is now getting sent back because there was double sided tape holding the screen down and it nearly fell off my ipad. I believe it should have been better done because I paid $260, but have friendly staff

I came into COPS as I was unable to access the data on my external hard drive, I spoke to an older gentleman and he quoted me $50 for data recovery and a further $50 or $60 to put my hard drive in a new case if it was repairable, I came back later that same day and handed in my hard drive to someone else as the older gentleman wasn’t present, when my data had been recovered and was being transferred to a new hard drive that I had given to them I had a phone call from Lira who worked on my hard drive and she told me I would have to pay $119… my original hard drive wasn’t repairable yet I was being charged more than double than the quoted price, I’m autistic and have social anxiety and didn’t feel comfortable going into the store to resolve the issue so my mum went in instead, she spoke to Lira who said the older gentleman’s quote was incorrect and he shouldn’t have told us that, she then told my mum that it was $125 for the job despite having told me $119 over the phone and as my mum just wanted me to have my stuff back so she just paid it, I’m extremely unhappy with the service received, regardless of whether the older gentleman’s quote was correct or not, it was the price I agreed to and I wouldn’t have agreed if I’d known it was going to cost as much as it did without my old hard drive getting repaired, it is illegal to charge more than the price quoted and I will be taking this to consumer affairs
