I live in western suburbs of Melbourne I would highly recommend Brian of Hire a hubby made the call to him got a very prompt reply was here when he said he would be,fair good price for the job which was well done very nice person

I can't speak to other's complaints, but I'm in South East Melbourne and had Peter M come out.He was incredibly polite, dead on time (Christmas Eve no less). He and the other gent had the jobs knocked out in half a day, did terrific work and honestly I couldn't have had a better experience.They cleaned up afterwards, and even went to the effort of calling the manufacture of one item they were installing (Smart lock) for further instructions in configuring it, something I didn't even expect them to do (I expected them to install it and leave, not go to all that extra effort!)Given the bad experiences, I would definitely use them again, but I would request Peter specifically, as I couldn't fault a single thing.Thanks guys (if you read this) you really blew me away with your fantastic service!

Do not hire for lock installation - Unreliable, unprofessional, unworkable. Numerous no shows, poor quality work and ineffective complaints resolution.

UPWEY HIRE-A-HUBBY:Extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and appalling service". Would NOT recommend under any circumstances.. The work done was substantially substandard and did not meet the specific purpose of what we had asked for.- They demanded payment for work they did not do- They also demanded payment on multiple occasions before the due date / very confronting- Caused damage to our garden- Ultimately we paid to have their work corrected and redone by someone elseMy advice is to stay away from Hire-A-Hubby Upwey

I'm leaving a very positive review even though I'm not technically a customer.I got confused and thought HaH had done a bad job for me but it was actually a different handyman service. I complained and got a call back from the HaH handyman (who qoted but didnt do the work) within an hour, even though he wasn't responsible for the issue.I'm left feeling like I.should have gone with the HaH quote instead!

Called to get a job, received a text saying job got accepted.NEVER CALLED to book a time, I then called to find out HE IS OVERSEAS HUH???Called head office AGAIN to tell inform them the guy is overseas, they then directed me BACK to the guy who is OVERSEAS???????

Exceptionally simple job & the the tradesman destroyed a precious, irreplaceable statue - a gift from my daughter. Said I'd move the items but before I could he said it was ok & knocked it over. Never again! Little remorse apart from he wouldn't get paid his $90 to put a wall hanger in a wall to hold a single mirror. Appalled and terribly upset.

Hire a Hubby Rosanna disgraceful rude peopleThey are extremely rude people that dont care about customers at all. It is a disgrace of a service that get contractors for jobs meaning that you can wait for weeks to get something done.Dont contact them unless you want to be treated with rudeness

Matt from Hampton was punctual, courteous and knew what needed to be done after I sent photos via phone, he gave me a quote and came within a couple of days of booking. He did a number of handyman jobs quickly and efficiently. Recommend highly.

Terrible integrity. Hire a Hubby couldn't do a job, so they hired my father who is a plumber to get the work done. The job was for Cotton on so my father installed a tap and pipes in the wall of the shop. Hire a Hubby never paid him for his service or for the tap and equiptment that was bought for the job. To this day we are waiting for Hire a Hubby to pay him and we have blacklisted them and put them on debt collectors. Don't use this service
