Brisbane Thai Massage and Luxury Spa Brisbane city CBD - HICAPS

As someone who used to work here, I would like to share some of my insights with future customers:1. This place is NOT a Thai massage place anymore. The current owner Cassy is Chinese. They have no Thai staff and therefor no one knows how to do Thai.2. They do NOT provide receipts for remedial massage anymore. Cassy got scammed by a client before and almost fined by the health insurance company for thousands of dollars. So she doesn't do receipts ever again.3. Some therapists are fantastic, but some are new and you can't tell. It's hard to find new foreigner therapists due to COVID, so Cassy will hire and train new staff completely from the scratch.You don't know who you will end up with if you walk in blindly. Please read the reviews first, find out who gets a lot of praises, and call first to specifically ask that person to do it.It seems like Cassy recently hired a total newbie which explains the negative feedback in the pat several months.4. Foot spa/ foot bath just means soaking your feet in hot water. It's NOT massage and totally useless. Don't pay for it.In a word, this shop has good and bad therapists at the same time. That's why I gave it three stars. Don't trust your luck but call first. Hope you guys find this useful.Edit: Cassy must have asked clients to leave reviews for we used to only get 2 or 3 reviews for the whole year. For the past several months there have been ridiculously many new reviews.

Top 3 worst massage I ever had. She put a paper towel on the back of my neck then whilst rubbing oil the paper towel kept rubbing around my neck. The only explanation I think think of was her eyes were closed

I've been coming here for a few months now and have been really happy every time. I just had a massage done by Mel who was so lovely and was definitely the best massage I've ever had. Highly recommend!! :)

I had a really good massage from Tony, who has a solid style and was very responsive. But I have also had a poor massage here, so I suggest you make sure you ask for an experienced therapist. If you check this, they will know you care, and you should have a good experience.

The place is decent, the staff are nice & welcoming. I was disappointed with my massage, very little to no technique, it was more hurtful than joyful, one of the masseuses was coughing her lungs out ( I wish her well), but I feel she could have skipped or taken few days off to recover, not healthy for customers to work while they are sick (especially during a Covid outbreak)

Went for a massage with a friend of mine. I would rate 1/5. They were not professional at all. They were talking from one massage room to another in a loud voice. This is the worst massage I have ever done. It was supposed to be a hot oil massage but I never felt like I got any hot oil massage. Besides, after every massage the lady would disappear from the room and get oil and come back to give me the massage. I was left cold and uncovered. I had the worst experience here.Totally waste of money and time.

This is the best massage I've had in 2 years. The therapist Melinda is very professional. I will definitely come back. Strongly recommend you to come.

EDIT: they will harass you with numerous phone calls if you leave a 1 star review. The owner of the shop also rang my friend and got very emotional over the phone, wanting this review to be removed. I am reviewing this based on my experience, the masseur was a nice, but the massage was below average. I can’t give a 5 star review to a service I’m not satisfied with.One of the worst massage I have ever been to. All the good reviews were from years ago. It’s no longer Thai massage, don’t get fooled by the shop’s name.
