We had a ducted split installed a few years back. alot of corners were cut, in ceiling unit drain wasn't clipped and ran straight into gutter(which isn't even legal). Return air wasn't connected at all, when asked why I was talk some garbage story. Dave came back next day and rectified it after I connected myself. I've reconnected and retaped 50% of ducted over the years. Alot of hangers at junctions were not supporting weight correctly. Out door condenser was installed in an in appropriate location, I had it moved by another contractor at my cost. Other contractor inspected AMJ work and wasn't very impressed at all. I guess the worse part is the unit itself (Mitsubishi heavy industry) is under rated for house size. In summer we are left with a hot house and in winter we need to light our fire to warm house. I'm only writing this now due to the hot days coming up, and it reminded me how annoyed I am and was at paying the price i did for a half baked system. We basically need another unit of the same size to cool out house.
