My partner and I went in to have a look at a second hand car we had seen online. After speaking to the sales assistant, Frank, we took the car for a test drive.As we returned the car, and spoke to the sales assistant, he made a few comments about how “you look like couldn’t afford any of the other cars here anyway” a few times.A few minutes later we were sitting in his office (for what I thought was to talk about the price, car, and any questions we had) I said that we needed more time to talk things over, Frank exclaimed, “well, when I go to buy something, I just buy it, I don’t mull things over” (but you know, we look poor right? And throwing thousands of dollars around on cars is such a good idea for people who probably couldn’t afford it, so whatever?), seeming incredibly disappointed, and very annoyed that we hadn’t made a purchase.This is an incredibly terrible way to talk to anyone. Oh yeah, apparently “I don’t care if you guys won’t take it, I have someone coming to look at it this afternoon”, yeah, sure thing buddy.We had a look at the reviews for the 2006 Holden Viva later - all terrible. Glad we didn’t buy it!

We purchased our car on the 13th of September . On the 23rd of the September the engine seized . I took the car to my mechanic who advised that there was a problem that they were aware off . They gave me a rental car which lasted 3 days and again left me strands rd. They did repair my car however we are still out of pocket $600 which they have not reinburst us . Excused after excuses and become rude because we keep calling them . I do not trust them nor would I ever recommend them . Really dissapointing !

After a recommendation from a friend (a local car dealer who swears by these guys), I took my VX Commodore here for the first time on Fri 15-03-13 for a 6 month service, problems with my rear breaks and front suspension. Their pricing was excellent, as was the way they treated me. Someone dropped me off at the local train station to get back to work and when I couldn't make it back before closing, they still let me pick the car up at 7pm on a friday night as a couple of the guys were doing some work on their own cars and were happy to have me drop in. The service they have done has netted me at least an extra 20 - 30bhp and they even changed a balding tyre with my spare without adding it to the bill.As well as the usual fluid changes, they gave the car a proper tune up and did a full fuel flush and even replaced my wiper blades (all as part of their standard service!) My car feels like new again, the increase in power is staggering. I would happily recommend Leading Car Care to anyone that wants honest and exceptionally talented mechanics to look after their pride and joy.

Took my car in for a minor service and the guy seemed friendly at first. Went to pick it up on Friday after work, drove about 5km down the road and the temperature gauge started showing the engine as too hot and I had to pull on the side of the road. Rang them up and someone came out to have a look. An hour later, I had to drive back to the shop because they couldn’t fix it and gave me a loan car for the weekend.The loan car was really old, with a hardly-working handbreak. Monday morning I get into the car to drive to work, it WOULDN’T START UP! Had to make alternative arrangements to get to work. Rang for them to pick up the car and complained about how annoying it was that neither of the cars I got back from the mechanic works properly.At the end of the day, the car has finally been fixed, and the same mechanic came to pick me up. A minute into the ride, he started going off at me because I gave him ‘attitude’ in the morning over the whole thing and that it wasn’t his fault that my car had a problem, it was a pure coincidence, and it wasn’t his fault that the replacement car didn’t work, it was the ‘new battery’. He told me that I should be grateful for his customer service and that’s what they pride themselves on while he was yelling at his customer. This made me feel really uncomfortable as I was a single female sitting in the car and getting yelled at by a white male mechanic in a small space. It was COMPLETELY unprofessional.It was absolutely the worst experience.

Bought a car from these guys maybe 2-3 months ago, it's unfortunate to say that it's not a pleasure to own said car. Issue after issue keep popping up, thankfully only small inconveniences so far, but have just developed a knocking in the engine (fingers crossed it just a bad misfire or something).I'm not going to say that they would have known any of the issues were there but the dodgy road worthy report makes me wonder, especially considering I asked what the bad points of the car are and got told it was perfect and not even 20 mins out of the lot I had an engine light.Unfortunately I bought the car blind (being from a town a few hours away) and trusted his reports (lesson learned. Don't ever) so i don't expect anything from them (Maybe i even bought this on my self).just real a shame these guys are in business, and from what I can see, selling way to many cars like this.I honestly hope that someone can look in to you guys and straighten you out.10/10 do not recommend look elsewhere, my 22 year old Ute is in way better condition than my newish perfect" car"
