Maroondah Toy Library

Toy library allows us to have new toys on rotation all year long. There is a great selection of toys for all ages and indoor and outdoor toys. We have been able to use toys I never would have had the money or space to buy.Opening hours work for me alongside working 4 days/week and the staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful.

Maroondah toy library has a large selection of toys and my 9 month old loves all the new toys he gets to play with every week. Joining the library was one of the best decisions! He’s especially loving all the wooden toys and blocks recently.

This Toy library is well managed. The staff there are friendly and always make me feel well welcomed. They store many puzzles and classified by levels. I have to say those popular toys, like big toys, are borrowed quickly, and you need a little lucky to get which you want.

We love being members of the Maroondah Toy Library- such a fantastic concept being able to borrow toys and return/swap them for something different. Love the easy online system and the HUGE variety of toys. Highly recommend becoming a member!

We've been a member for last 4 years since our boy was 6 months old. Toy library has variety of well maintained toys you can borrow for some time. It has been cost and environment effective for us. Definitely recommend!

The Maroondah Toy Library is a fantastic resource as a parent! You get to help your children explore and discover endless different types of toys, without the worry that you’ve purchased a toy at the store that they then don’t like or ever play with. There’s no pressure this way! We live the variety of toys - ride ons, puzzles, imagination play, building, costumes, kitchens, prams, etc. and even board games for adults!The staff are all so lovely and helpful. And the toys are in a consistently great condition and packaged so well for you to keep track of.We are so thankful for this amazing service in our local area!!

Maroondah Toy Library has been ideal for our family. It has a great range of toys that can be changed every few weeks to keep the kids interest. It has helped me work out which toys would be worth investing in buying, saving us even more money in the long run and helping reduce waste when some toys are only uses for a short period. In a small house without storage, I can rotate toys with ease. If you're in the area, we definitely recommend joining.
