There many good Thai restaurants between Ourimbah and Green Point. I have eaten in most of them.I have tried three mains here. All three were below expectations.The Calamari was the packaged stuff that some places use. It was industrial; little flavour and unappetising.The Pad Kana Noo Krob was also very unappealing. The pork belly was not crisp but rather soft. Compared to others I have tried; this one compared poorly.I have found that a curry is probably the best indication of the ability of a Thai restaurant to dish up a good meal. The yellow curry here failed the test. Probably the worst I have eaten, and I've had lots over many years. The potato and the onion was simply cut in half, not sliced or cubed. Lazy cook?A little further east and you will find one of the best Thai cafes on the coast. Several kilometers further north is another. Both far better than here.Reading the other reviews just makes me wonder.

Hi guys at Anan. Love your food.Just wish your food had the chilli thai hot when asked for.Like back in Thailand.That was the best tom yum goong yet. Wish it had the chilli oil. Floating on top.Overall beautiful.ThankyouKeep it up beautiful food guysThankyou

Something is different here in the nicest way. I ordered a curry and a stir fry, the dishes were very well balanced with their taste and ingredients, and the plain rice complemented wonderfully with them. I have enjoyed dinning here very much and I appreciate the homely feel the restaurant has.

Thai Anan in Gosford gave us one of our best dinners outside Thailand.The chicken, the salad, the curry, the flat noodles and the satay were all good, but we were completely blown away by their coconut mango sticky rice dessert!! The sweetness and the coconut flavour was balanced with the slightly sour mango pieces. We can even feel the individual rice grains while being soft and fluffy. This is Grandma Cooking.

The best Thai food I have ever tried (whether in Australia, Thailand or anywhere). It was so good that we came back the day after and would have come back even more if we had more days left during our Holidays in the CS.

I have been getting take outs from thai Anan for a while now & its our favorite for thai take out.My daughter love fried rice & their fried rice are good, they never use too old rice as some Thai places do which makes rice difficult to chew.They also do use lots of fresh vegetables as well.
