Raine & Horne Kingsford / Kensington

I’ve had the best experience with Raine and Horne Kingsford because I’ve been renting properties from them for a few years now and I’ve had nothing but amazing experience with them, especially with Sam Karastasis and his staff. Top, top agency, I can’t recommend them enough. Very happy.

The worst real estate agents.They push only what they want and have little care for their clients. I was ripped off for the electricity bill when I ended my lease and paid way too much compared to how much was used. I do not recommend then to anyone.

This place is extremely well kept. The occupants are quiet and considerate. The stairwell and hallways are clean and smelling fresh. The kitchen is spotless, no food stains or roaches. My room is clean, very well maintained, the fridge, the toaster, microwave look like brand new. The bed is comfortable, double size and immaculate condition. The lady caretaker is friendly, but doesn’t tolerate unacceptable behaviour and looks after the building in a very professional manner. I am impressed and very pleased!

Most amazing Real estate agent I've ever rented from. Sam cares about people, and has been caring for my family for over 10 years. Very understanding and compassionate. Definitely would recommend him to anyone.

As a first time tenant 4 years ago, Raine and Horne Kingsford had been nothing but attentive to my needs and putting my concerns at ease. Their promptness to any issues raised is highly praised for and I could not have gotten a better property agent (led by Andrew). I have moved to a new suburb and am hoping I'll get the same treatment and care I got from you guys. Thank you for the amazing 4 years. :)

R&H dismissed most of my emails to get several urgent repairs done, some over the course of over a year. Representing the landlord at NCAT, R&H lost. Orders were made by Tribunal for the landlord to complete these repairs - however R&H/the landlord ignored the orders and refused to finish these all by the due date.They still have not completed the repairs, with R&H having nothing but excuses at Tribunal. They were confronted by the Member for them/the landlord not abiding by the law.In one of the hearings, the rental agent also tried to claim that it was 'retaliatory' of me to bring the NCAT claim in the first place to make them complete urgent repairs. His reasoning being that I didn't like a small rent increase which I had agreed to before this all happened. The Member scoffed at this.R&H then sent a letter trying to increase the rent by over 60% - with urgent repairs still not done.You can guess my advice - like many people who have left 1 star reviews - stay away! If you're a renter OR an owner.

The worst rental agency I have ever rented through. As another reviewer has said - lying. Dishonest. Totally arrogant.Won’t fix urgent repairs. Will give you silent treatment if you persist in asking.Luckily that’s why rental law exists - to stop these grubby real estate agents from taking advantage of tenants. Nice try guys.

This is our first time renting with this real estate and we couldn’t be happier. The team are super responsive and quick to act, which is so appreciated. They had so many great places they are managing - glad we got one! Big shout out to Ari/Andrew/Sam for getting us into our new place so smoothly/quickly!

The worst, dishonest, lying real estate agents. They persuaded the owner of the unit to illegally raise the rent multiple times in a calendar year. R&H were told it was illegal, they didn't care, continued to persuade the owner to commit an illegal act, the owner was taken to court, the owner lost in court, but R&H were so dishonest, so mendacious, they placed the blame on the very elderly, recently widowed, owner despite R&H being the people who pushed the owner to illegally raise the rent. The owner was probably never told it was illegal and so when R&H fronted the tribunal representing the owner and lost the case, the owner subsequently dismissed them as the representative agent and sold the unit through another agent.R&H Kingsford are the real-deal renters' worst nightmare: with them black is white and night, day.Here's some sound advice: buyer, renter, whoever, run a mile.As others have said, if only one could give zero stars.
