Van (electrician I think) from this company just blew through a red light at a pedestrian crossing outside a hospital. Thankfully I got out of the way but they would have cleaned up anyone a bit less mobile. They didn't even brake.

If you are using this company, make sure they provide you a quote BEFORE they do the job. Had a simple clogged sink that took a plunger to unplunge for 2 minutes. It was a Saturday. Was charged over $700 for this simple job. When asked for a breakdown, they could not provide me a proper itemised bill and did not apply their $50 promo discount for first time customers and neither did they give a $0 call out fee as stated on their website. There are no terms and conditions attached to this either on the site so I am raising this now with VCAT to have my refund but in the meantime want to warn anyone dealing with this company to please be careful. Rachel also has been misleading on the phone and quoting differently over phone call after the job was done. She has told me I was charged $508 for emergency rates as apparently they charge a minimum of 4 hours (I was told 3 over the phone AFTER the job was done, but was not even informed of this BEFORE the job) at $127 per hour on Saturdays. I had my friend call on a Saturday and I recorded their conversation with Rachel and she told my friend there was no emergency rates and that she would waive the call out fee for them. But yet charged me $149 call out fee and $508 emergency rates? These breakdowns were given to me 3 weeks after I requested it and still does not match what I was told. It was honestly so deceiving and saddening to know this company has charged me this much and will not even respond to my emails to ammend the issue and then to hear what they quote others over the phone. I did not want to go this far... but people need to be aware of how deceiving this is.

The team at our local services were fantastic.They attended to a toilet blockage emergency, they came out on the same day. They had it cleared in no time.The plumber that serviced our property was very experienced and was a delight to deal with. Also they left my place clean. Will be using them again.

Highly recommend Our Local Plumbing. Our Local were engaged to rough in plumbing and install fittings for my en-suite and main bath. High levels of professionalism, great quality of work, lWe also had Joe from Our Local Electrical a number of times now and he was helpful and great problem solvers.They worked efficiently and made sure emergency works were done properly. They also left my place neat and clean after the job was done.

Really impressed with the services provided by our local services, professional and completed the jobs in a timely fashion. Would recommend :)

High quality work and reasonably priced, the quote came in between other quotes and we are delighted with how it all turned out. Mark explained all our options and let us know every time something needed to be reviewed, and turned up to appointments on time. Thanks heaps for the wonderful job
