I don't like posting bad reviews, but sometimes it's the right thing to do, especially if it helps others. I purchased a washing machine, and 2 weeks later it still has not been delivered. I've called the store multiple times and no one ever AND I MEAN EVER answers the phone. It's just left to ring out unanswered. After more than 15 attempts to speak to someone, I will have to drive there just to ask for a delivery update, which really isn't acceptable customer service.

I was chasing a new phone and due to low stock available from the good guys I rang around to find a store who had one. Tingalpa had one so I called and asked for them to put one away and even offered to pay over the phone but girl said it would be ok. I drove just over a hour to get there and they sold all they had left and mine as well. Manager did call me later after I complained and said sorry and offered me a deal on any product I need down the track. The damage was already done. Good guys has now lost me as a customer forever.

Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since my fridge failed.Purchased from Good Guys Tingalpa 3 years + 1 mth ago. I was told by the manufacturers service consultant the condenser failed and it would be expensive to fix when they were sent out to fix it 2 weeks ago. I purchased extended warranty when I brought the product from the Good Guys. Unfortunately after repeated phone calls to Domestic & General (Good Guys warranty insurer) have done everything to avoid honouring the extended warranty. Nobody ever contacts you with updates you have to call back to be told still waiting for report or it is being investigated behind the scene.I contacted the Good Guys head office complaints department who were to call back within 48hrs that’s is almost 2 weeks ago still waiting for that call. This coming Monday it will be 4 weeks since the store were to call back about a loan fridge…still waiting. The claims team told me it was handed to the Product Assistant Team on 9/2/23. Yesterday the Claims Team (only ones I can get on the phone)told me the Product Assistant Team are working a replacement but I still have not heard a word from them either. I have never posted a review before but have to say I have never had so much trouble with a retailer and I would hate to see another customer go through what I have been through. I paid good money for the fridge and extended warranty and while they continue to not action this claim I have spent 4 weeks in Brisbane heat with no fridge. Buyer beware this retailer is only interested in taking your money not at all interested in after sales service. My advice don’t buy any product from them I certainly won’t be.

I went to the store to buy a Delonghi kettle. It was listed as $149. All the competitors are listing it for $139. Betta at Cannon Hill can get it for me within the week, but the terrible sales assistant at Good Guys refused to sell it to me for $139 despite me being able to pick it up down the road within the week. Terrible customer service, and would not recommend anyone buy from there. They are a rip off, not flexible and not at the market price for products.

Chelsea was amazing! She worked with us to find the perfect appliances within our budget. She took the time to listen to our needs and create a seamless payment and delivery experience. The delivery crew was also so friendly, professional and on time!

Outstanding service on the features and benefits of a Dyson cordless vacuum V11 from Jack F today (4/3/23)! We were unsure about what to purchase but Jack F resolved all our queries and the service was truly excellent! Firstly I’m not one to leave a negative review ever but that is truly how upset I am with my recent experience. Genuinely dissatisfied and annoyed is an understatement at the very least so buyers please be aware. Purchased a washing machine with delivery was told it would be next day delivery, was told to go into store to ensure next day delivery, so I did. And still it never showed so contacted the store, was told sorry a mistake was made would be next day… to yet again waiting around to go through the same song and dance and no delivery yet again. Angry and annoyed because was told twice delivery would be made but couldn’t be given a time so cleared my schedule to be available for them. To just have wasted my entire weekend waiting around for a delivery that never came to be told it won’t be delivered till Tuesday now. Spent countless hours on hold and just trying to get through to the store has been hard enough, to be jumped from person to person with no outcome. Just feel like the store couldn’t care less and been such a poor experience. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere as promises keep being made and not meet, each time iv trusted them that the situation has been sorted to next day being told otherwise yet again. And being told different stories and excuses made. But unfortunately it just isn’t good enough. Extremely dissatisfied. When you spend this much in one transaction you expect better customer service and actually get what you keep being assured. Buyers beware.
