I bring my dog spend for $450 just for a consultation and some antibiotics, the vet barely looked at the dog during the consultation and just a week later my dog is even more sick than he was before...I don't know how you can justify a $450 bill for just a 15 min chat with a vet, 10 antibiotics and no results whatsoever?Business wise it's clever, morally not so much...

Very deceptive company & staff, will get you With your pet in under consultation, then under quote you for xrays & surgerys but limit what u need to know on procedures etc & when it comes to after surgery hit you with a huge bill & expect you to pay it before they give your dog back. Our 6 mths old Frenchy fractured it's back leg & were estimated on consultation $900-$1500, but ended up with a $6500 Bill & then they had the hide to request we come back every week to change dressings to which they will charge you more on each visit to do so & then requested come back in 6 weeks to do more surgery to remove the pins in our French bulldogs Pups leg & they would charge us again...Estimate of just under $10,000I made a point of speaking to the owner Glen, but he wasn't willing to work with us nor even review the excessive costs, i had to redraw on my mortage just to make payment to get my French bulldog pup back.I URGE YOU. DO NOT USE THIS VET, VERY DECEPTIVE, TELL YOU WHAT YOU ONLY NEED TO KNOW , NON COMPASSIONATE, BUT CHARGE YOU VERY HEAVILY.THEY ARE IN IT FOR THE QUICK DOLLARS, NOT IN BUILDING GREAT CLINENTEL WITH PETS & THEIR HONEST OWNERSI WILL TAKE MY 4 FRENCH BULLDOGS ELSEWHERE & WILL NEVER RETURN THEIR AGAIN!!!

Trusting Glen and his staff at petvet is the BIGGEST MISTAKE I have ever made.Glen is a great salesman, hes confident and talks a big game.Unfortunately his skill set does not match. We used him to perform BOAS surgery on our dear girl. He was so incompetent in his job that she actually came out worse. What's worse is that i have been trying to contact the clinic to speak with Glen and he just ignores you. He is constantly 'not in the office' - that fella must have a lot of days off. This guy is a salesman that will take your money and run! $6000 spent and I can't even get a phone call back.I've also been in contact with roughly 20 others who have had a similar experience and am opening a large complaint with the veterinarian board it's that serious.

This vet practice is the best I have ever been to. The people are SO lovely and incredibly competent - they helped to solve an ongoing life threatening stomach issue for my cat that other vets had been unable to figure out. They are also very sensitive about the financial aspects of taking your pet to the vet here, for which I was extremely grateful. I won’t take my cat to any other vet practice after finding this one and can’t recommend them enough ☺️

I have a pug & as a squishy faced breed is prone to all sorts of things like respiratory issues & allergies. I was initially seeing a vet close to home & became pretty unhappy with them when it looked like they just kept me coming back spending more money for no results. I was recommended Petersham Vet Hospital & from the very first appointment they showed care & professionalism. I knew I had found the right place. My pup Oli LOVES going there. When I am parking the car, he already knows where we are & becomes a little hysterical, whimper & running from door to door in the back seat, wanting to get out of the car. The minute he is out he runs me to the door. Inside he is well behaved & knows how to use his cuteness to get treats (which he always gets). He gives Glenn's kisses all over his face & Glenn is happy to entertain it. Oli also loves visiting Dr Megan. He knows she can’t resist his puppy eyes and giving him snacks. Thanks for caring for my boy!

Absolutely wonderful staff, very helpful and caring. My dog kept opening up a cut and I came back in several times to have it cleaned and pick up more anti-inflammatories. They didn't charge me consult fees after the first visit, just happily took the time to clean the wound and have a look at it on my subsequent visits. Often vets will charge consult fees even if you're only in there for a minute to follow up, but I was shocked to be only paying for the medication. They've always been able to squeeze me in too when I call up in the morning, such a lovely practise highly recommend

Despite symptoms our Frenchie was misdiagnosed for months and was treated for a runny noise. When her condition deteriorated last Saturday afternoon we contacted practice and were told to take her to an emergency vet. Emergency vet said our dog had an advanced case of Aspiration Pneumonia that should have been picked up earlier. Despite his best efforts she was humanely euthanised later that night. Yesterday we received a sympathy card from the emergency vet practice. Ironically we have not received any empathy from the practice we trusted and spent thousands of dollars at.

This morning my cat wasn’t feeling well so I’ve called them and on a busy Sunday with back to back appointment they told me that I could bring my cat in to get him checked out.The vet Meagan and her team were incredible. They went above and beyond to make sure my sick cat was looked after. I could not recommend this place enough! Best service, extremely professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely trust bringing my beloved ones here.
