Rooms basic and clean.. excellent amenities with large kitchen and chill room.. town within a 20 minute walk, takeaway and bottlo out front..staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful and who knows, you may even get to see a platypus

Awesome place with 5 star facilities. Sally is very friendly and helpful to give me lots of recommendations on places to eat, visit and view the aurora. I was supposed to put up for a night, ended up 3 nights with wonderful experience. Highly recommended if you are there to enjoy be it family or solo traveller.

Stay here for 1 night, such a great place! Jeff saw me on my bicycle abd said: welcome brother, make your self at home! And it definetly felt like it, cleand amenities, good rooms and great atmosphere. Couldn't raccomend anything else

We enjoyed our stay here. Our host 'Bumpy' went out of his way to make us feel at home and we experienced that old fashioned genuiness that is almost impossible to find these days. The facilities were clean.

We have a really nice experience with the prople in the hostel, especially the manager, he was very kind. The rooms are okay and the place has a little creek where, if you are lucky, you can spot a platypus.

The staff there are so friendly. Jeff was always there if we need help. He also told us the spot to view platypus.Also, it is the cleanest the backpackers’ stay I’ve ever been. I think it is cleaner than some of the expensive hotels that I booked in the fast. Their public facilities (toilets/showering area/micro wave) are surprisingly clean as well!Thanks Team!

Jill answered my call at 9 p.m. one evening... and really help me with setting up a good room...Jeff is an all round handyman and great bloke..Reece is a really lovely guy...Jade is a top chick and so helpful...And the other team are managing a great little nook...With 4 bed bunks and 8 bed bunks and single rooms...I was truly grateful for my stay here...There's even a platypus in the creek behind the place...

Beautiful location with wonderful homely feel. Rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean and well cared for. Communal kitchen / lounge has excellent facilities. The manager Bumpy" is warm

We stayed 2 nights in tents here and found the place awesome.The facilities are top notch and price very fair. 4 tents was $40 night, only $10 each.Jeff the caretaker was so accommodating and checked on us to see if we needed anything regularly.I can recommend this place for sure.
