What a wonderful place to go out and explore while the tide is out. We all had loads of fun looking in the tide pools and just exploring. So grateful we all had our water shoes, as it made it easier to walk around all the rocks.

If you are looking for a place where you can closely approach the rocks, sea and carpet, dont miss this place.

An interesting bay if you walk to the left side of it there is a path that follows the coast and you can see the remnants of an old shipwreck. The cliffs are pretty massive but glorious against the setting sun!For more photos visit:Instagram: @wanderingandwilderness

A favourite place, especially for fishing on the rocks & swimming on the beach for children. Would be even better if there was a toilet though, especially when there's none nearby when you need to go!

It was not busy at all on a warm weekend day. Great beach to have a swim and play

This spot is awesome! Very secluded and off the beaten track. Never a lot of people here which is a positive. At low tide you can swim/walk out to the deeper water and explore the rock pools. I’m sure this spot would be awesome with goggles so you can see what’s happening under the water. In our trek into the water we saw plenty of toadfish, whiting, flathead and even a little flounder. The spot is quite shallow for the majority of the beach, so if you want to swim it’d probably be better in high tide.

Fantastic for kids to play and adults to explore the wreck and walk to the hexagonal rocks

Nice beach good for surfing if the waves and wind are right. The walk to the shipwreck also starts here

Lovely little bay, and at low tide you can walk (carefully) over the rocks at either side for some views that are well worth the trouble. Facing out to the ocean, if you head right there is a small trail that makes footing a little easier. To the left is trickier, but Not was able to (did I mention carefully) get over most of the rocks, but a steep, dirt trail was a little beyond me.

A great secluded bay with volcanic outcrops and a quiet beach perfect for kids. A cool shipwreck is only a short hike (20 min) away.
