Bayswater Tweed Motel

Possibly the worst motel experience in 20 years. For $160 a night the bed was not made, their excuse was personal possession on the bed, a Samsung tablet. Internet was super slow, not enough to download emails. The TV is at least 15 years old, no streaming services. When I brought these issues up with reception the man spoke to me like I was stupid and kept trying to give me school kid excuses and he will report my issues to his manager, in other words dismissing my feedback.In 2023 there is an expectation of service, there is none at this motel.I will not be staying here again.

Very good value. Good sized rooms. Clean. Easy after hours remote check in. No road noise even with its location on the main street of Tweed.Be careful of time differences between NSW and Qld if staying in summer season as it's right on the border.

Great big room, comfortable, needs microwave in room

We stayed for one night and had issues with the key/power. THe power came out when we entered the room without the special key but we couldnt get the air con working, everything else worked. IN middle of the night when my partner couldnt sleep i woke up to try again and after playing around with the key again, it worked. The next day there was no power in room other than the aircon and the wall socket on that wall. Clearly an antiquated, old system. We left without saying anything just thinking it was old, low and behold they kept our security money! Very disgusted in the service, and planning to take it further. It was clear from the moment we walked in that something was not right, so we are requesting our money back.

Such a great place to base yourself for work. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to some fabulous cafes for breakfast and dinner. Perfect if doing work at Tweed Shire Council- it’s literally over the road!

As expected. No microwave was a bit annoying but maybe I didn't read the small print. Room was clean and comfortable.

I stayed 3 nights. Perfect for me visiting step dad in nursing home across road. Room clean and tidy. Bed a little uncomfortable but that's my back not the bed lol. Nothing to complain about. Will stay there again.

Stayed the night with a cherished friend, the room was nice and cosy. I had a coffee, watched a little television, and made a little whoopy, so the mattress was soft and bouncy. I enjoyed myself immensely.

Recently stayed, this place needs pulling down. Rooms are appauling, carpet stinks. The bottom of my shoes were black from how dirty they are. Had a luke warm shower everyday, not hot water. Beds are like rocks and the blankets stink. Don’t turn on the air conditioner the smell and noise from it are horrific. Lucky it was not summer, cause the pool is green. This place was recommended to me. Trust me do not stay there.

Very nice motel. Well situated. We enjoyed our stay with this motel.
