Another fantastic Toyworld store. Great toys at really good prices. Just about got the lot.

Purchased 2 jigsaw puzzles, staff were so helpful. Will definitely shop again

It's like being in a lolly shop. Staff very helpful and made it nice an easy for my 11yo son to swap his lego.

Great range of products. Yes this is more expensive than online but at least you can see and touch the toys. I am glad we have a new toys store.

Toy world staff are wonderful, it’s what one should feel in a toy store. I returned a toy and was greeted by a lovely staff member ( Grace). She worked on a the batteries a while and we established a solution. Toy world have a great system they tracked my granddaughter’s toy on file as I lost the receipt. 5 stars ⭐️. Customer service shone through.

I came here for all my nieces and nephews presents as they do have a good selection. We normally set ourselves a budget of $100 to $150 per birthday. Last time after a purchase we found out the same item was considerably cheaper elsewhere. Oh well, sometimes that happens.This time we were more careful. After selecting a product ($130) we quickly googled and it was $70 at toys r us (no more physical stores in SA, so online only) and $75 at target, 8 minutes down the road. The online ad also said rrp was $95. I went and asked for a price match and the store said no. I then asked if they could reduce the price to the rrp and they said no.I understand purpose built toy stores will be more expensive than online and major department stores. However I do think it unreasonable to be over 30% above the rrp price.So we left, never to return, and for the same price bought the same gift, gift wrap, birthday card, extra smaller gifts, and all our fancy dress for the party. Perhaps I should be giving a 5 star as it was a blessing in disguise.

Overpriced but I'm more upset by Staff not overly interested or freindly towards customers or Kids. We have spent good money there over the yrs and still get treated like second class.

Update 2020: Gone from 1 star to 4 stars. For the size of store the ranges are much improved and although the prices are still a tad higher I didn't see anything as stupidly rediculous as a year ago other than some super expensive balsa and ply dolls houses for $400+ and crazy ride-ons (one was $750). The staff seemed to genuinely like kids and toys which helps.2019: Super expensive and half the size of the previous shop. Items are 40-200% more expensive than elsewhere. Their catalogue specials weren't ticketed in store at all.Some example pricing: farm (pictured) was $80. A little red pull cart was $160. 6v kids ride-on bike $230. Remote control cars that are $99 at Big W are $139 here. the list goes on.
