The desserts from here are absolutely standouts. Our favourite was the honey/macademia cheesecake which is clearly a perfected recipe.The staff are super friendly, and struck the right balance of attentativeness and allowing guests to enjoy their own meals/company.

Great service and food.Only concern was the new menu item being a dry aged steak.Upon enquiring about the age of said steak I was told it was 7-14 days dry aged'Unfortunately this does not constitute a dry aged steak as it at takes at least a minimum of 21 days for this flavour profile to occur.Nice steak but actually wet aged with no pellicle trimming evident nor the nutter aroma associated with real dry aged steak."

Not a great selection of food and high prices. Feels like they are trying too hard but has poor execution to do with service. Ordered from the bar menu and was slow, they seem to disregard you unless in the upscale part of the restaurant. Breakfast service is OK, but they don’t even have a barista coffee machine- either drip coffee or this disgusting automatic coffee machine stuff.

We were very disappointed in the food at this restaurant. Oven fries served with a Barramundi main course! Seems it’s taking advantage of being the only dinner option in the area and getting away with mediocre food at quality restaurant prices.

Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant at the Mercure, American River. Try the Brodetta. A fisherman's stew. The flavors are magnificent. If you are a KI local you can contact the Mercure and unlock a managers special.

I was underwhelmed by the service and food. I realised it was off season and the restaurant may have been understaffed, but, the prices on the menu reflected a certain expectation towards food, service and decor. The food was okay but nothing special. The staff consisted of 3 trainees and we were placed in area looking like a small high school gym. We were booked in for two nights, but decided to go elsewhere for the second night.

It was very disappointment experience. The 2 waiters were cold and unwelcoming, one told us off first thing as we entered the restaurant. The other got our bill wrong and did not even apologise for that. We waited long to order, waiter just ignored us for a long time so my husband had to go to the counter twice to get our food ordered. And the steak took more than one hour to come out, after following it up multiple times. To be fair food was good, and the waitress was nice enough. For the price tag you I think it’s not too much to ask the restaurant to have some level of service?
