Not impressed. Had a rear bumper repair which was quoted 3k back in 2018. It went through insurance. I was never able to close the lid easily even after going back for the second time. I was told that it had life tome warranty so i didnt care to go back any more because it was a hassle. Now I am selling the car. And guess what they told me after first inspection. That I probably got hit-and-run run in a parking lot and they will charge me if more damage was found. And it will be another insurance claim. Hell they didn't do a good job and now telling me this? What if the new damage" was actually something they didn't fix properly in the first place! I was told by car dealers and buyers that whoever dud the repair

I trusted RACQ's recommendation and regret it. This business has terrible quality control and takes no pride in its work. An unacceptable number of km were added to the clock during works, and I suspect my performance car was used inappropriately. There were considerable delays, terrible communication and a seriously bad quality of work. All repairs done to my car need to be redone, and there is now additional damage to the car.If you care enough to be checking this review, run. Don't send your car here.

Do not go here if you want your vehcle back in a timely manner and want to stay informed of your vehcles progress along the way. It took over 3 weeks for them to replace my bull bar. I was informed of 2 weeks when I dropped it off for my prebooked repair date. They then extended it another week and only informed me after I called to check it was ready for pick-up.Their customer service is non-existent, they did not keep me informed along the way. I had to call them countless times to get updates, despite them saying they would call me. They also failed to return components off my car that had been removed during the repair, but not damaged in the incident (they had no right to withhold them). I had to chase them up to get the parts back.

This company is an absolute dumpster fire. Our car was sent in for repair as a “recommended repairer” from our insurance company. They changed the pickup date 4 times and dented/scratched our car during repair. We then took it back so they could fix the damage they did. While fixing that damage, they cracked our windshield. So now the car had to remain there to fix the new damage they caused while fixing the last round of damage they did. This has been going on for 4 weeks now. NEVER take your car there.

I was referred to this place from RACQ and was reluctant due to the amount of bad reviews but I gave them a shot anyway. My appointment was delayed by two weeks due to lack of staff and i never received any updates like they promised but other than that they were good. All I needed done was some scratches removed and my back light replaced and i got my car back in a week.

I took my car into Gemini on November 21st to have some repairs carried out under my RACQ insurance policy. I am still waiting for it and now I am told it may be mid January. The reason I am told is that they are waiting on parts. Surely they have heard of air transport. The manager Craig will not return my calls. Rest assured that RACQ will be informed of this terrible service. An update as of 12/01/2023 I am still waiting, and been told this morning it would be the end of January. Please avoid this firm who has no respect for its clients

I didn't want to come here because the reviews all said the same things. Poor quality control, no attention to detail, lazy etc.But RACQ assured me they have strict rigorous conditions for their partnered repairers" and a "lifetime warranty".So I reluctantly booked my car in. My car was brand new (hit and run)

Worst experience + TheftI had to leave the car with these incompetent mechanics four times for them to properly fix everything, and in the end, they stole a silver necklace in the car.After three weeks in the repair shop, I returned to get my car only to find out that they had forgotten to change my broken mirror on the right-hand side.I had to take money out of my own pocket to extend my car rent for another week.When I grabbed the car one week later, I found out that the electricity of the car was not working. Changing the seat position using the button was no longer possible. The plastic covering behind the door handle was missing for the driver’s door. The washer for the right passenger door was not properly installed.I had to take the car back for a third time.They called me back to grab the car one day later, and I found out that lock which locked all the doors at the same time was no longer working. I had to leave the car again for them to fix it.The next time I came to grab the car, I noticed that they had stolen a silver necklace.Not only are they the most incompetent mechanics I have dealt with, they are also petty thieves. I will be reporting this to RACQ.On top of this, they were constantly lying through their teeth. They would tell me that a part would take two months to arrive for it to arrive 2-7 days later.In the beginning, I had paid $1600 extra on top of the $650 excess for them to fix everything that was outside of the RACQ-issued fixes because of a previous accident.They did not fix the back bumper in the end. The manager said that it wasn’t in the quote, even though the mechanic had previously told me that the money covered the back bumper as well. Once again, lying through their teeth. Either the manager has lied or the mechanic in the beginning. I paid them $1600 extra for them to only fix a broken mirror and do a paint job.If you value your hard-earned money and customer service integrity, do not come here.

We were sent to Gemini through RACQ for smash repair on our Suzuki Vitara. We'd hit a bird during a road trip and needed a new light, light housing and bumper front bumper. The customer service/ reception ladies are a bit gruff and abrupt, but given how busy they are I thought it was understandable. The only thing I wish they'd have done differently would be to call when the parts are in for a same day repair, they'd quoted 5 days and were firm on the dates.
