I bought a Possum Deterrent from Bird Gard, we had three possums coming to our garden nightly, they were marking there territory generally making a mess. The first night of of the Possums came into the yard, they didn't seem to be bothered, but we haven't seen them back since. Great product, and Bird Gard got it to us really quickly and checked to see if we were having any problems.

Since installing the Possum deterrent, the pesky little critters have stopped stripping my apricot tree of foliage and fruit and have abandoned my suburban backyard, for which I am thankful. The possum deterrants did not work - in fact the possums slept right next to them and didn't seem deterred at all. I am going to be sending them back. I've had them running for several weeks and the possums are still in my garage. I wished for a better outcome. Cheers, Lynda

I have installed a possum repeller over 3 months ago and found it did work as detailed. It has stopped the possum eating any of the food from the garden.Very happy with the result.

I installed a Bird Guard Solar Powered Possum Repeller approximately 2 weeks ago and so far there has been no evidence of any possums entering our Bonsai area. So we are extremely pleased with the results so far. Evan Crick

I will be honest initially I was really disappointed as on night 2 I had 3 possums in the tree, but I reread your instructions which said it might take a couple of weeks to work and it has. Occasional possum, but the tree is in full leaf - only wish I had done this sooner and saved my liquid amber which the possums killed.I thoroughly recommend your product and have just bought another one.

Unfortunately the possum repeller didn’t work for me. Beware you will receive excellent service and follow up until you send it back for a refund. You will then not receive a single reply to your emails and cannot get through by phone. I’m about at the point of calling consumer affairs.

Delivery was incredibly quick.I put the solar powered possum repeller in my garden to stop a Hardenbergia along the fence from being constantly grazed by possums, leaving no new growth. Well there is now lots of young leaves so I can only conclude that the possum deterrent worked exactly as promised!Only downside - the solar collector is in a bright yellow plastic casing (compared to green for the main unit) which means it doesn't exactly blend into the garden at all.

I purchased a new Possum Deterrent to replace the previous one which had worn out. I have found this box to be most effective at deterring possums. Darren at Bird Gard responds quickly to orders and is happy to provide advice to ensure optimum success. Highly recommended.
