Modern Art Framing

After seeing such great reviews I was excited to be able to support Australian made to get some new frames for my house. Contact was good and I received a few emails to confirm order. Once I got my frames I opened to find one completely broken frame and one with quite obvious splinters on the top. I tried emailing seller and was very understanding as it’s a busy time and these things happen. I had no reply after a month so sent another email to check in. I ended up fully opening package to try and fix my broken frame and have had no luck at all. I saw that the seller had been posting lots on their Facebook so tried contacting through that with no reply also. It is sad that after such a good interaction I am now being intentionally ignored to avoid fixing a problem and now I’ve wasted money on an unusable product. Just disappointing.

Would order from modern art framing again. Ordered a very large custom frame for a piece of art, fits perfect and looks great.

We got 4 paintings framed and 1 canvas stretched at Modern Art Framing. The customer service was great, the turnaround time was good, prices were fair. Overall I had a great experience and would happily go there again.

I needed four 11x14inch art prints framed with a thin gold border for baby’s nursery.Had previously gone to ‘Frame Today’ in Castle Hill homemaker centre and was quoted, wait for it, $290 EACH per print.Then I was offered overpriced ready made frame options ($160 each) plus a $30 cost PER GOLD BORDER, again totally about $190 each. I quite often get works framed and found this daylight robbery.I googled and found Modern Art Framing - called up to explain what I wanted and the gentleman was very friendly and advised when to come in where he would be available to cut the gold borders for me. He found me these ready made frames (EXACTLY THE SAME size, material and look of the ones at Frame Today) for $33 each and charged $8 each per gold cut border.He cut the borders while I waited in store and loaded them all into my car for me for less than the cost of one print framed as quoted by the nearest competitor.Will definitely return here for any other framing needs in the future.

I am extremely happy with the three frames I purchased from this company and I’d definitely deal with them again. Delivery was much quicker than I expected too.

Been going to Modern Art Framing for years and will always return for anything that I need framed. In the pics there's an Artdeco piece I had done 6 years back and the two blueprints were picked up earlier today (one of which was a limited, signed edition), but I've had at least half a dozen pieces done.My only suggestion is always to go for the non reflective glass as I have a couple of earlier pieces that have normal glass in them and the reflections just detract from the overall look.
