Bankstown Star Buffet
Star Buffet offers various types of food, from Asian, and Western, to desserts and sweets. They even have a mini sushi train, I think it’s very cool. The food tastes average but affordable.The first letdown is hygiene, where kids roam around unsupervised and leave food mess everywhere, especially at the chocolate fountain. The second flaw is that food is not refilled quickly enough. By 8 pm you hardly see any food left.

During my recent visit to Star Buffet, I encountered a significant line upon arrival at 5:30 on a Sunday; however, I was pleasantly surprised by its rapid movement. The variety of food options intrigued me, but unfortunately, the overall quality fell short of my expectations. Particularly at the sushi place, the absence of salmon and the cheap quality of the remaining sushi left much to be desired. While the service was satisfactory with freshly prepared food, the experience, although enjoyable, wouldn't entice me to choose it over other available options in the future.

Went at 5:30 on a Friday. There was a small line-up but once we entered I was thoroughly impressed with the size and variety of the buffet. I am a very big eater and was unable to make it through the whole dessert bar which was very extensive.Staff were very attentive and I saw frequent cleaning. It's quite a spacious buffet so there's no crowds to fight through.I will be returning with a different game plan now that I've tried everything. I would honestly pay $100 for this buffet and still not be disappointed.

Quick service and good value for buffet. Great accommodation for big groups and lots of options to choose from. I highly recommend the roast beef and garlic prawns! Delicious

Lunch was incredible value for money. 1 adult with unlimited soft drink for under $30. The selection is impressive, the environment modern & well lit. I would love if they offered duck meat instead of the pork/chicken. They had duck wings that weren't good.

This place was having Massive queue during Sat night! The buffet starts at 5.30pm till 9.30pm. First, there's a queue to sign into the club. Next, there's another half an hour queue to enter the buffet area! How crazy that the queue was all the way to the ground floor! There was only two counters handling the buffet sign in, which is the main reason of the queue. They need to improve in this as having to queue at least 30 minutes will definitely drive away their customers. Food wise, the buffet spread is acceptable and they replenish the food very well. There's the oriental BBQ pork by the entrance, the western section with soup and pasta, the sushi belt, the western section with finger foods like nuggets and fries, the Asian stir fry section, desserts, cakes and fruits, cold seafood, dim sum and pao. They even have a candy floss machine! Water, tea, coffee are also available. They charge $4 for bottomless drinks so pay for it to get a cup when signing in. Nothing to shout out for but good variety for the price.

Nice clean friendly buffet with a good selection of food and plenty of thoughtful seating! In today’s market, superb value for money, especially the member deal they had on when we went a fortnight ago!I’d just request for a wider selection of food type as on the day we went, it was definitely dominated by asian selections!

Nicely laid out seating.Great selection of food.Great family atmosphere.Great price.Clean and well serviced.Some prawns were decent and fresh and some where mushy.
