Kalimna Woods Cottages

We enjoyed our stay very much, the place is well organized with private area for each cabin and nice feel of the Aussi bosh. The owner was very helpful and nice. Would defiantly come again!

Although the cottages are in a nice quite setting, they desperately need some maintenance as they are outdated and the spa had 2 cracked and dirty jets. The TV is a good size but the reception is abysmal, kept dropping out every few minutes. The driveway is steep and dangerous. It is heavily washed out in places, you really need a SUV or 4 wheel drive to get in and out of the property. The kitchen utensils were lacking, only 1 dinner plate instead of 2 and only 1 portable induction hotplate. When I asked for an additional plate it took over 24 hours for them to give me one. The cottage was clean except for the jets on the spa bath. All in all, I think for cost of the accomodation, I would expect a higher quality.

Stayed as a family of 2 kids and 2 adults.Very welcoming reception and a nice quiet, friendly, casual feel to the cabins. Possum and bird feeding was a bonus. Cabin was clean and large and I could recommend it for families.

The environment is superb, the landlord is exceptionally nice, and the rooms are very cozy and feel like home. Close to the beach is very convenient to take the children fishing and kayaking.

Perfect, comfortable & clean accommodation in a great bush setting. We stayed last weekend (early July). Cabin heating (reverse cycle A/C and wood-burner stove) were perfect. Comfortable, clean bed, bathroom & living area.The accommodation doesn't pitch itself as 5 star but our experience definitely was. We were hoping for a nice private, enjoyable get walkway without the kids and we got everything we were looking for. Everything we needed was on hand, friendly check-in and check-out. We will be back for sure.

Almost perfect. 4.5 stars from me.. but this place earns the 5 as there was only one small issue to deal with.... What a lovely place, quiet and peaceful. Clean small cottages nested just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. Beds were good, inside the cottage was clean and had everything you'd want. The bird and possum feeding adds to that country experience. Friendly staff, lots of DVDs to rent for free.The only thing that was not too good was the outside BBQ. Which was left in a disgusting state by the last person who used it and never got cleaned and had a faulty burner. Other than that everything else was fantastic.

Quiet secluded location. An easy walk into town with stunning views along the way. Staff were extremely helpful during the week we stayed. Thoroughly enjoyed the bird feeding! A little tired looking on the inside but clean and comfortable beds.

Cute rustic cottages, spot feels remote and surrounded by nature but it's only a 3 minute drive to town. Spa was nice. Make sure you stop on the way to get some fruit and veg to feed the possums with!

The preferred location for the Easter holidays, close to nature and scenic. In the evening, I also saw the Milky Way. The accommodation here is also good and the service attitude is good. I will come again next time

A very quiet and relaxing place. The surrounding scenery is very beautiful and there is an easy walk to the town along the lake. The house is artfully furnished, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were very warm and attentive. Feeding the birds and watching the possums is more fun than staying in a five-star hotel, and the prices are great
