The atmosphere and service were good. The cocktails were tasty, and some veggie dishes were alright. But there are some very critical issues this restaurant needs to fix.1) No photos in the menu. The menu is not completely Spanish or English. It is hard to imagine how the meals look like.2) The portions are small even for a tapas restaurant.3) The bread is served homemade and fresh, but extremely mediocre. Personally, I have zero skills in cooking, but I baked much better bread during lockdown times. The portion is again small and costs 9 AUD...4) Your goat with rosemary sauce... It is horrendous. Even plain boiled goat would taste better. It is literally soaked into the rosemary. No salt or flavor taste other than bitter rosemary.

Another banger from the crew of Emily Taylor fame. There are some hits on the interesting menu, the service is more attentive than the usual and the ambiance is fabulous. All in all a definitely a safe bet for a positive hospitality experience.

Food was exceptional. Every morsel was perfect. A little pricey for my wallet but so worth it. Absolutely loved the food. Wait staff were friendly, offered excellent service. Despite the bit of rain, we actually enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff tried to accommodate us, but we were happy to hang out in the drizzle. If you're not keen, they give you the option of sitting inside.

We had a fantastic lunch at Sailing for Oranges today to celebrate a birthday. The food and drinks were all top notch. We had 3 serves of the banquet for two" between 7 of us (plus a few serves of their delicious house-made bread) and it was more than enough for us. The atmosphere and service were also great - it's a great spot for a summery long lunch. We'll definitely be back!"

Came here on a Thursday evening with my friend, we got the 5 dishes deal. The food was great and the perfect amount of food for the two of us, we started off with a cocktail each which were both delicious! Then shared a bottle of wine which was perfect, the service was very good making us feel welcomed and wanting to come back again. When we were leaving the lovely bartender gave us a few recommendations on bars we can go to, to continue our night! Highly recommend:))

Most of the menu is labelled gluten free, and the lovely waitress was very knowledgeable and explained how they would note it, and prepare in a separate area/fryer for my Coeliac food!!The food was very good too- lovely share plate tapas. My partner and I (he doesn't eat much) shared 3 plates- which was the perfect amount to save room for dessert!

I find myself in Fremantle for my first trip to Western Australia, and wow am I glad I discovered Sailing for Oranges! It has a beautiful alfresco dining area facing South Terrace in Fremantle where you can watch the world go by.We initially stopped in for breakfast, I had the banana waffles, the breakfast and coffee was so good that we also stopped in a few hours later for lunch! Later on having a bunch of tapas and sharing a few dishes between us.Then we stopped in for breakfast again this morning before we finally depart from Fremantle! It was the first time I've had Octopus, I'm not one for seafood but this was amazing. The front of house staff really put in the effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable, and make suggestions on menu items if you aren't sure on what something may be.Service is quick and the chef working is very talented, the food here is just amazing.I'll be coming straight back here next time I find myself in Fremantle.

Quite sure this is the sister restaurant of Emily Taylor. While I just admit to liking the former more, this place has so many good points about it - it’s definitely worth a separate visit. The food here great. Good menu populated by many European food dishes, some which I have had before others Ive never heard of. Regardless the food was good. Was not thrilled with all of the dishes we ordered but for the most part it was a pleasant experience. Everything was plated so well, the dishes come out fast and service is very friendly. Of note are the drinks - they have a great selection and the non alco drinks are good too!The restaurant is big. They can easily sit large parties of 10+ here, so it’s a good place to consider for work functions. It’s in the heart of Freo so there’s also plenty to do (and eat) once dinner is up.Give it a go - especially if you’re into the more small dishes tapas style of food. You’ll find something you enjoy on the menu for sure.
