Horseshoe Bend
Beautiful place but very remote and not much to do with kids.The entrance is not welcoming.Needs better entrance,play area,cafe,animals no where to be seen.It is in a beautiful area and it is a shame to be so quiet.I almost felt scared to go in as there was no people unless I missed anything.

This parks is run down and neglected , such a shame as this has the potential to be a great location for the family. The rabbits has completely over run the entire park and there are ants of plenty . All the buildings are left to ruins and there is not sufficient parking . Surely Parks Vic can do something to revive this great park to its former glory

Horseshoe Bend
The gate was closed for cars, but people could walk in. Says it is open 24 hours.Only a short way to the farm. When we arrived about 1 pm we were the only ones there. After awhile there was a lone bike rider. Very peaceful place except tor the planes flying overhead. There are a number of picnic tables but not a single person having a picnic. Farm implements and buildings to photograph. Need to be careful when walking iff track as there are many holes caused by, I guess, moles. Good place to go if seeking solitude.

Farm itself is not open for business anymore, however the site is still open to walk or run around, have a bike ride or a picnic at the various tables on offer. Buildings haven't been maintained and have been falling apart lately, however the small garden still seems to be looked after by someone.

Fantastic place for a picnic in convenient place. It’s super quiet and clean. The picnic tables didn’t even have dust on them.Once inside the old farm you could be miles away from the suburbs, but in actual fact it’s a minute walk away.Find the citrus and fig trees; you might be in luck.

A beautifully maintained space to take time to go for a walk around and have a picnic. Wild enough to feel away from the city but cared for enough to not have to worry about the kids. Picnic benches and spaces galore! Lots to see and enjoy. Almost a small rural time-warp!

Don’t be confused like me, this is NOT closed. The animal parts are closed. You can still walk around this scenic bend, though I will admit it was a bit ghostly

Nice walk around creek. Fresh air and beautiful view. Nice place to walk in morning or evening. You can enjoy breeze and sound while walking on edge of creek.

Horseshoe Bend
Great walk if you have a dog. It's got a great path and isn't too long. The walk itself is nothing special but it's nice and quiet.
