The upwards escalator has been broken since I moved here. I see the disappointment in older people's faces as they turn and walk away. The carpark is filthy and just about everything I was chasing was out of stock. There seems to be lots of clothing. I found some decent towels and occasionally a worker acknowledges you. Very occasionally. Well, once.

I needed some wool and drove from Glen Innes. The greeting was very friendly.I found some suitable wool however they don't stock enough for bigger projects.I was able to find other things I needed

Lots of products to browse and friendly staff. The building is raised above the floodplain so there is undercover parking if you need to get out of the sunshine.

The store is ok but the staff don't wear a uniform and I'm never sure who to ask for help. And some of the outfits the staff wear are like they are going to the beach or a picnic. Nil standards.

Great 'front of store' Customer Service. Other sections you can't access help. Clean store, well stocked. Good specials. Toilets are available again thank goodness. Last time I went to Big W the upward moving escalator wasn't working which would make it a struggle for many customers and they had no one available to assist the elderly, disabled customers which I don't think is appropriate.

3 stars due to the fact that on Wednesday the 8th February I went into inverell big w to get some swimmers and had my 17 month old in 1 of these 3 wheel trikes that have the handle on the back to steer him with. I got to self serve checkouts and was told they don't allow bikes in store while I get if a child can use the pedals and get away from the parent/s a 17 month old cannot. My son doesn't know how to pedal at the moment so he cannot get away from me and until he does I will continue to use it. That was the first time I have been pulled up for it even though I have used for the last 8-10 months walked passed dozens of workers and not once been pulled up. Yes my son looks like he's older but he is only 17 months.
