This place has such a yummy breakfast! The smashed avo, fritters and bene are all delicious choices. The coffee is beautiful. The staff is wonderful and very kind. Make a reservation because this place is busy. Definitely a must stop place in Broken Hill.

Lovely and warm inside. Great 'bucket' of good coffee. Amazing dessert cabinet. We were there for breakfast so didn't indulge. Can recommend and would return. Apparently their pizzas are good too!

First impressions of a big thing.When I first walked in, nobody even acknowledge that I was there.My husband went into order, standing at the counter and again nobody to to even acknowledge him knowing that he was there to spend money and pay their wages. Extremely disappointingThis is very bad customer service.The female member that brought me my coffee was not very friendly at all.The guy that bought me my breakfast was a lot friendlier and the food was good, but unfortunately your first impressions always tarnish everything.Spend your money somewhere else.If the silly goat was open, we would’ve went back to that as we ate their last time and the food was good and the staff were friendly just about half a dozen doors down the road.

Food good but lasagna a bit tasteless. Needed more meat and seasoning. They where very helpful in preparing a couple of takeaway for us for our next stop.

We’ve been to this cafe many times on previous visits to Broken Hill, but on Saturday morning when we called in for a coffee and raisin toast, we were extremely disappointed. The interior was very dark and tired and the raisin toast was badly burnt ! Yes, I should’ve said something but I’ve had enough stress this year and didn’t want confrontation, so we left after I scraped some charcoal off and had a nibble, but no, just left and won’t be back. Go to Gloria Jeans coffee at the other end of town.

Driving through and found this gem! Best pizza in Broken Hill surely!!! Amazing service with our kids and great food. Thank you. We will be back!

AMAZING! All of the staff were kind and easygoing, and when I spilled my drink all over myself, they provided me with not only extra tissues, but a free 2nd drink as it was an accident. I can't even express how much I crave their food whenever I'm not down at Broken Hill. If you ever want good food, just go to Alfresco's!

We ordered a Vegetarian and Hawaiian for takeaway. It tasted okay, but:- crust was undercooked. Could easily have been left in a bit longer on maybe oven needs to be hotter- far too much cheese on the Hawaiian. That’s all you could taste.- both pizzas, especially the vegetarian, were pretty flavourless. A good pinch of salt would have gone a long way.Pretty disappointing in the end. Especially considering Alfrescos has so much potential. They need to simplify the menu and focus on doing few things to a higher quality.

What a wonderful little cafe, great service, great staff, and a wonderful menu that is fresh and prepared to order. Great for families, groups, coffee or even lunch and dinner. I enjoyed the quick service and the clean eating Environment. If your in Broken hill I highly recommend.

Broken Hill was hit by a massive dust storm, most places were closed. Cafe Alfresco was almost ready to close to but they happily made lunch for us. The staff were really friendly and helpful, even offering to make a half size nachos for our 9 year old. Meals were a good size and tasted fantastic. I would have loved to have desert, everything in the cabinet looked amazing, would happily recommend!
